Pretty good.

Warning: Spoilers
Not exactly the knockout satire I was hoping for, but I delightful way to knock 90 minutes out of your day.

Nicole Kidman gives a great performance as a ball-busting TV producer who loses her job, and recruits her family to the suspiciously perfect town of Stepford, where all of the women are like "deranged flight attendants". Her performance, however, belongs in a slightly better film.

Bette Midler, Roger Bart, and Glenn Close standout in the superlative supporting cast (also including Matthew Broderick, Christopher Walken, Jon Lovitz, Mike White, and country recording star Faith Hill). But... wait until you see (SPOILER!) Nicole Kidman as a Stepford wife. She looks...(sigh)...stunning.

Lapses in logic aside, and while not necessarily an Oscar contender, THE STEPFORD WIVES is a humorous piece of fluff that you might enjoy, depending on what mood you are in.
