Something clearly got lost in the translation here big time! I am of course referring to the American version of 1984's GODZILLA. The film is much too slow-paced, Godzilla hardly appears until the film is half over and we have Raymond Burr's reprising his role as Steve Martin whose reasoning here seems beyond ridiculous and doesn't match up at all with expectation. The ending doesn't make much sense either.
