Julian Cook was born on 15 May 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Julian is a production designer, known for Big River Blues (2008) and Barbarian (2003).
Tales from the Earthkora chronicles Julian's travels across the eastern US, a transatlantic voyage on the Queen Mary 2, and subsequent travels through Western Europe and West Africa. The resulting book, Ped the Adventure Tiger, is written from the vantage point of a stuffed tiger that accompanied Julian through the adventure.
Is an accomplished digital artist having successful art exhibits in
Santa Barbara, Dallas and the DeKooi Gallery in New York City. Before
that was a sculptor whose first work was sold to Timothy Leary.
Ironically Julian nearly destroyed the art when packaging it and the
resulting piece "Modern Baby" turned out much darker much to Timothy's
amusement. Other owners of Julian's work include Don Johnson and Ross
Perot.
