- Julian Cook was born on May 15, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Julian is a production designer, known for Big River Blues (2008) and Barbarian (2003).
- Is an accomplished digital artist having successful art exhibits in Santa Barbara, Dallas and the DeKooi Gallery in New York City. Before that was a sculptor whose first work was sold to Timothy Leary. Ironically Julian nearly destroyed the art when packaging it and the resulting piece "Modern Baby" turned out much darker much to Timothy's amusement. Other owners of Julian's work include Don Johnson and Ross Perot.
- He is a strong advocate of Open Source technology and is a world class Perl/Linux/MySQL an ecommerce developer. He has created applications in use by the US Government including sophisticated geographic mapping routines. Julian's first ecommerce creation was the wildly successful hotels.com.
- Is a devout Tibetan Buddhist who regularly studies and treks in Nepal. Upon becoming a Buddhist was given the name Sherap Gyatso by Buddhist Archarya Dr. Jeremy Hayward. Name was later changed to Sherab Gyatso via a letter from the Dalai Lama's office. Sherab Gyatso means Ocean of Wisdom in Tibetan.
