- George Fitch Watson stood-in and photo doubled for David Duchovny for the Pilot episode of Californication. George drove the Porsche on Hwy 1 for the opening credits cut in shot while the aerial camera helicopter pilot swooped low surprising commuting traffic. The helicopter pilot ('Chuck Tamburro') was the same pilot who had flown the helicopter under the bridge in the movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
- George Fitch Watson shot a real Thompson SubMachine gun on the Universal backlot for director Clint Eastwood on his movie Changling. The gun was made famous during Al Capone's prohibition exploits and held a full wind up drum magazine with 50 45 caliber blank cartridges which were fired until empty. George and four other actors playing corrupt policeman fired on multiple stuntmen covered with explosive squibs. The shot had to happen in one take because refitting all those squibs on the stuntmen would have been too time consuming. The scene was almost completely cut from the movie but appeared in some trailers.
