This is Marini's first time with Hallmark, but it certainly won't be his last. If ever there was a leading man who fit beautifully into the Hallmark world, Marini is that man.
The movie focuses on D'Orsay's Lauren, a leading psychologist who lands a dream job as a performance coach at the Parisian-based House of Trésor, a coveted fashion brand run by Virgil St. James- a famous fashion designer.
With the help of her calming techniques, Virgil’s Paris Fashion Week show is a success, but the applause of the audience is interrupted by screams when Charlotte,...

Even though the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes impacted TV and film productions, Hallmark anticipated the labor dispute by getting a head start on production in Canada. “Christmas is a year-round business at Hallmark, so we were able to mitigate early in the year understanding that the strikes were unfortunately imminent,” Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of programming at Hallmark Media, was recently quoted as saying. “We’re grateful to meet all our goals for a full, all-new holiday slate and to bring our viewers the content they love most to celebrate the season.”

S1 E7, 'The Dumpling Paradox'
Often all it takes to set our lives on a downward spiral is for one person to upset the balance. A friend, co-worker, family member or a complete stranger can be all the impetus needed to throw our regularly scheduled lives into utter chaos. And if you're life is as scheduled as Sheldon Cooper's, well, things can be hell.
It's Halo night in the Cooper/Hofstadter residence, and Sheldon is already upset that their gaming time is six minutes late. Just as the gaming is to commence, Penny asks if she can hang out and hide from an old friend of hers who has invited herself to stay. The friend, Christy (Brooke D'Orsay), has come from Nebraska to live the good life in California, but Penny has little love for the young woman, who she describes comically as "The Whore of Nebraska". An unfortunate choice of words,...

Just because the characters of "Royal Pains" typically are seen at play in the Hamptons in the summer, that doesn't mean they don't celebrate the end-of-year holidays, too.
USA Network confirms it by giving the series -- which wrapped its fourth round a few months ago -- a new, stand-alone offering with "Off-Season Greetings" Sunday, Dec. 16. The two-hour movie both advances the saga and goes back in time with it, as doctor-to-the-rich Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) recalls his earlier romances while his brother Evan (Paulo Costanzo) prepares to walk down the aisle with fiancee Paige (Brooke D'Orsay).
"It's directed by one of our executive producers, Michael Rauch," the friendly Feuerstein tells Zap2it, "and no one knows the DNA of the show more than him ... other than our other executive producer, Andrew Lenchewski. The two of them have built such an efficient and creative machine, and the show has gone in so many interesting directions.

If a relationship begins with a lie, what is the expected lifespan of such a relationship?
That is a question that “One Nut Johnson” posed to viewers tonight. Even if the lie is a harmless one or it was for a good reason, how much longer can the lie hold up.
Walden is lonely. He knows that his money is a likely hindrance on his path to find love. So he takes the next logical step; take his money out of the equation.
He basically becomes a slightly more handsome and likeable version of Alan. Sure enough, he gets a girl, who is smart, attractive and does not know about his ranking on the Forbes 500 list.
I am certainly sure that right there are lot of people right now, female or male, who are wealthy and can’t find love because of their affluence, which begs the age-old question: Is money better than love.

Walden is getting a new girlfriend on "Two and a Half Men": The show has signed "Royal Pains" co-star Brooke D'Orsay to a guest role.
D'Orsay will play Kate, an employee at a big-box store who catches Walden's (Ashton Kutcher) eye, EW reports. And why is the very wealthy Walden shopping at a discount store? He's hoping to come off as an everyman so women will like him for who he is, not just his money.
The role has a chance to become a recurring part.
D'Orsay has appeared on "Two and a Half Men" before, guesting in a 2007 episode as a much younger girlfriend of Charlie's (Charlie Sheen). Her character this time around is not connected to that episode.

There's a new diva in town. Kim Kardashian will have a multi-episode arc on the fourth season on the Lifetime hit Drop Dead Diva, starting with the season premiere, the network confirmed Thursday. Production will kick off next month and new episodes will premiere this summer. So, what will the Kourtney & Kim Take New York star's role be in the fantastical dramedy starring Brooke D'Orsay as a plus-size lawyer who's inhabited by the soul of a dead supermodel? Kim will play Nikki, a love interest for Ben Feldman's Fred—who, to make things interesting, is going into business with his ex, Stacy (April Bowlby). "I'm ecstatic to welcome Kim to the Diva...

Two of the best shows on cable return this week. They are White Collar and Royal Pains. Both shows have built a loyal fan base over the years, and each show has shown improvement year after year. Matt Bomer is the star of White Collar and Mark Feuerstein has the lead in Royal Pains but it is the supporting casts that make these shows truly special.
White Collar is finishing its third season with these new episodes and has already been renewed for a fourth. When the show ended in August, FBI Agent Peter (Tim McKay) was distraught over the kidnapping of his wife Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen). He blamed Neil (Bomer), his criminal associate, fully responsible. Now Peter and Neil have to join forces and find Elizabeth before it is too late.
The investigative partnership between Peter and Neil is great. They play well off each other and the fact...

Let's start the weekly round-up with Grimm.
Grimm's ratings dropped a little this week, but the show still won the 18-49 demo in its timeslot, finishing ahead of CSI: NY, Fringe and Supernatural, and rising by a full frakking ratings point (1.8) after Chuck (0.8). Wake up, Chuck.
Hitfix visited the set in Portland recently and posted a lengthy report. Here is a snippet:
Sasha Roiz on how his character will develop later in the series: "I’m not a Grimm descendent, but I'm a descendent of a long line that dates back just as Grimm does and we have a bit of a history and a past, so my line is a royal line and that will slowly unfold throughout the series."Collider has a longer interview with Sasha and Reggie Lee (more at the link):
It’s nice to see your character – like the main character – has the duality.

Royal Pains delivered a solid summer finale in which Divya balanced her double life and Hank treated two patients, including Paige's mom. Let's go over "A Little Art, A Little Science," shall we?
For starters: Who expected that ending? Not this vieweer. Wow.
It never occurred to me that Divya wasn't only endangering herself by pulling double duty, but also her patients. No doubt if Divya wasn't sleep deprived she wouldn't have prescribed steroids to Eric.
Divya said early on in this episode that secrets were sometimes necessary. But when it comes to a decision that not only affects her, but also their clients, Divya's double life shouldn't have been the secret kept. She should have told Hank from the very beginning, as this isn't the first time Divya has attempted to play a clever balancing act.
She's certainly doing a great job in her quest to be independent and pay back Raj's family,...
