kapelusznik1817 September 2015
***SPOILERS*** Mike Hammer, Stacey Keach, attending his 1960 high school reunion at Ben Franklyn High gets caught up with a number of alumni who end up being murdered there including the person who invited him Taylor Wilson,Terence McGovern. It's later that even Mike Hammer becomes a suspect himself when he's seen murdering someone working there which turns out to be a person wearing a life like looking Mike Hammer mask! It soon comes out that all the murder victims were connected to, also a Ben Franklyn graduate, congressman Charles Landsberg, Steve Carlson, and that all the murder victims were members of the school's elite Omega Fraternity who had to have a 160 and better IQ to be accepted there.

The very self conscious Mike Hammer in him not having anywhere near a 160 and up IQ and not even being a high school graduate, he dropped out in the 11th grade, has trouble figuring out what's going on here. But it's his former English teacher Viola Green, Esther Role, who give him confidence in his mental ability by providing him with a equivalence high school diplomas, proving that he's not a dummy, that was to activate his non responsive brain and turns things around for him.

***SPOILERS*** Hammer soon discovers that someone who's infatuated with Congressman Landsberg has been killing off all his staff and friends so he, or she ,can have the big bargain all for himself. And he's using life-like hardened Halloween rubber masks, like that of Mike Hammer, to get the job done without being recognized! Exposed in the end by Mike Hammer the killer after Laandsberg tries to talk him in to giving himself in shoots and kills his "Secret lover from afar" and in him attempting to make his get away with Hammer hot on his tail ends up making a bad step and slipping off the balcony and into the boiler room down below where he's burned to a crisp.
