Okay, in this episode Gomer is goofing around with farming. But Sgt. Carter don't like that, see? Cause he's a tough Marine and tough Marines don't like farming, see? Farming is for sissies, see? So Sgt. Carter is fuming around like a maniac when all of a sudden he decides to pull a prank on innocent Gomer Pyle. He takes a watermelon and fills it full of booze and gives it to Gomer.
Naturally, Gomer being Gomer, he gives the watermelon full of booze to the Colonel. Now Sgt. Carter really freaks out! Surely he will be kicked out of the Marines for this fiasco!
The problem with this episode is that the scenario is extremely ridiculous. Sure, there are some laughs. It's worth watching if you're home alone and cant find anything else to do. But it's not one of the better episodes. Just a little too goofy.
