Came Up a Head Short
Hitchcoc3 January 2021
The whole gang is being evaluated by Grissom. So they are on their toes as he walks around with a clipboard. That said, they have two serious cases. One involves a couple joyriding teenaged girls in bikinis who stole a BMW. It turns out it has a man's head in it, but there is no sign of the body. The other is a return to a young man who was sent to prison and has got himself in the middle of a murder. Warrick has become close to him and does what he can to help him out.

The Head, the Gorilla and the Murder

On Grissom's evaluation day of the team, they need to resolve three cases. Two half-naked teenagers are fleeing from the police in a stolen BMW. When the police stops them, they find a severed head in the trunk. Grissom and Catherine assume the case. Sara and Nick investigate a beheaded body without feet and hands found in the middle of nowhere, and they try to identify the torso. Warrick assumed the case of a murder in the juvenile detention center where James Moor is detained and faces a dilemma.

"Evaluation Day" is an episode of "CSI" with two good segment and one only reasonable. The plot of the severed head and the murder in the detention center are great, Nick and Sara's one is only reasonable. My vote is eight.
