Okay, first of all Stanton never looked that good. He was short, paunchy and had a beard the size of Indiana. When you see a move "based" on a book or "based" on a true story, you would hope at least some of it was reasonably accurate. Some aspects of this series are accurate to a degree. Most, not so much. As drama, it's fine. But, why take a remarkable true story and burden it with unbelievable situations? History is inherently fascinating when played straight. This is a mishmash. The acting is adequate, the production values satisfactory, but so much is lost with the storytelling. Read the book, or any book about Lincoln's assassination. And another thing, Lincoln hated being called Abe. It was either Lincoln, or Mr. President.
