When the character says « no more men » the story basically stopped giving the room to some real pictures and a pic of her last success. Her political stands not interesting enough it seems. Compare in front an abusing father.
But it seems that Aretha is not interesting when she is not having babies . And basically men made her... reductive. Although the actrice was pretty good.
But it seems that women by themselves are not a topic worth describing ...
