This show starts with promise of being a revisionist/parody mashup of the apocalypse, YA, and HS genres but about half way through devolves into a bad teen drama with interesting set dressing. I would only recommend this series to those who are die hard fans of the HS drama series and watch for the clamminess. This series is just a big clam wrapped in a little apocalypse goo. The final nail in the coffin for this show is the last four or so episodes are heavy handed preaching, and they pretty much give up on story telling.
