At our recent church lock-in, I showed this movie to our teens at our church. Some aren't allowed to watch non-animated movies (sheltered), but they all watched this and enjoyed it. I like the verses and biblical application that isn't too forced on you. It's not pushed down your throat. This is a great movie for those who are just beginning to learn about Christ's love. Also, there is some great music--and I don't usually listen to gospel. For those who like cussing, action-packed, movies with lots of gratuitous sex scenes, this isn't the movie for them. However, I think the movie reaches the audience it was trying to reach quite successfully.
