The first movie was great, with original characters and a plot and it all just fit together nicely.
The second movie wasn't as great, and started to lack on real character development. It struggled and had a bit of a political message, but other than that it wasn't absolutely terrible.
The third movie actually managed to be better than the second. There were enough unique characters, both main and background, as well as the plot which was almost completely unique again.
The comedic nature the movie presented was very appropriate, and I enjoyed the ending and the battles.
