In Love and War (2001 TV Movie)

Another Great British Movie

I have just watched this movie for the first time today, and just loved it...

Yes it is simple in it's storyline, the sweetest love story,and how any female could not fall in love with Callum Blue beats me...

The scenery in Italy was as you would expect, Beautiful, the baddies lost in the end,and for the two lovebirds to be reunited at the end, was wonderful, but that scene where a certain Italian was sweeping away the confetti after Eric and Wanda's Wedding, perfection!.

Have a cup of tea and watch a fantastic movie, yes, better have a tissue ready and be enthralled, I know I was and hope to get it on DVD real soon. All the actors played their parts perfectly, this was a WW2 film you could believe in as it was so realistic, and without going over the top as in other films...

Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye (2002–2005)

Sue Thomas F.B.Eye Excellent.

I would like to say that Sue Thomas F.B.Eye is one of the most enjoyable program's on TV, terrific actors and cant forget Levi who I adore...in fact I love the whole cast, they work so beautifully together!.

Why did it ever have to end :( did Sue and Jack ever get married? I so hope it would turn out that way ... Is there any chance of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye returning? It's a pleasure to watch this without any fear of being offended as the story lines are well written and the story does not go over the top, but what it has going for it more then any others, are the wit and humour between everyone, yes, including Levi .

Good luck to all on that amazing program .

The Four Feathers (2002)

Good film..but?

It just amazes me to see a good Film like this spoilt by not having an all Brtish cast...

The best part for me was played by Castleton, our own "Kris Marshall" who always plays his part perfectly. Not just comedy roles, but serious to, and so believable, unlike some of the others portrayals. I'm afraid to say I sobbed my heart out when and how Castleton died.

It is not every actor that can make you believe that he/she is that person he portrays...but Kris Marshall can and does!.

It is still a very good story and I think always will be for many years to come. Who does not like adventure?. I think for some of us who have seen the original first, it will in some respects come out top, though I did find this 2002 Four Feathers still very enjoyable and why I rate it 7 out of 10. Oh and it would have been nice to see more of Kris ;)

And although I think Kate Hudson is a good actress, we have so many talented actresses of our own, who would have given more Kudos to this role.

Deathwatch (2002)

This was a surprise for me

Yes I gave this film 10/10 horror really is not my kind of film and I just bought the DVD because Kris Marshall was in it. Though I was told he was not in it too long I bought it anyway. Glad I did, it was horror in the sense that WW1 really was. To me it was so very realistic and in that , to me it was sitting on the edge of your seat time. I was surprised at that, but it was very gripping and kept you wondering who and what next?.

All of the actors played their parts brilliantly!. As for "Kris" , poor soul what a way to go just after, you know?. Nice touch that ;) This to me was real horror as the trenches in WW1 were !!! and with a twist at the end .Hilary.

Love Actually (2003)

The Best Feelgood Movie Of All Time

I just adored this film and can never see too much of it, it does make me laugh/smile all the time, of course it has my favourite actor in it which is Kris Marshall, and hey, Hugh Grant and Bill Nighy were Superb as all of the actors in it were...the young boy who played Sam is a star in the making for sure!.

I wish Kris had been in more, but all his lines are so funny, love you Colin Frissel, bottle :) and at the airport he says ...... maybe better not say, you all know what I mean LOL.. Make more wonderful films like this please.... It is good to see a British movie like "Love Actually" do so well. There are very few movies made today that you would seriously watch over and over again. This is one of them... Hilary.

Murder In The City, Very Good!

I am amazed at the comment by Mr.Asher as to Kris Marshall not being a good "serious" actor!, I completely disagree as anyone who saw Kris in "The Four Feathers" saw just how Excellent an actor he is!. Murder In The City I really enjoyed, though I think that Amanda Donohue's character was far too serious a role, and that this kind of series does better with a lot of outside action shots. Kris Marshall is a very sexy man and should be given a part where we see more of Kris as himself, as for humour? its the hardest role to play... So a sexy, exciting and at times humorous role for Kris Marshall would be right up his street and played to perfection!. Keep up the Grrreat work Kris!.
