Growing Up Irish
18 April 2014
I honestly don't understand how people can write about how a "sibling rivalry annoys them." I'd have to ask "were you an only child?" in response. For those of us who had sisters and brothers this is right up your alley. First and foremost it's an Irish household, they recall tons of stories from the not so conventionally nuclear family of the 80's...

This series is a breath of fresh air from all the other reality type shows that are on. One thing they are real, their lives are real the things that happen to them are real.

Expressing the feelings of old and healing those feeling through some competition is the way it should be. I'm sure Mark took a beating for his brother and Donny has taken one for him...

Can't wait to see where this goes next season I recommend this series to anyone not afraid of the REAL REALITY SHOW. That's all it is, unapologetic look into the lives of the "Wahlburgers" not just the burger joint but the family itself.

Eye opening...

This particular documentary gives the viewer an inside look into the missing pieces of an investigation that was fast tracked by the government, anyone alive at the time remembers how easily the pieces fit into the constructed explanation, with what amounted to the lone gunman theory. Worth watching if you're interested in finding out more about the events, using some archive footage the director weaves a masterpiece exposing the holes in the story whilst still meshing the interviews of those actually involved in the events. This documentary not only raises more questions it answers some, I highly recommend this film to people who like to look at situations from all aspects and don't always accept the manufactured answers we're given when such atrocities occur.

Just the right mix.

Excellent film, Dark side we all have mixed with the Wes Block's warm heart at times was well placed to go with the Film's tone. I would highly recommend this to anyone into murder Mystery's. Eastwood is able to bring this character to life, his character Wes Block is a man on a mission, and he won't stop until he's got his man. To me the twists in this story can't be seen ahead of time, with just hints of foreshadowing, one is now taken along for the ride...

Some may feel this film is dated, I would have to agree, it's like taking a journey back in time 25 years to New Orleans, Bourbon street during Halloween which was perfectly weaved into the story, simply brilliant,if you're looking for some high action "Make my day" shoot em up type of film this would not be the one for you. However if you have patience and a bit of a dark side I believe this film will satisfy your murder mystery cravings. 9/10

Rated R for sexual content & violence
