The Nurse (2023)
An accurate representation of what actually happened
I was skeptical about it due to the reviews, but as a Dane who followed the case pretty closely during the trial and afterwards. It's not exaggerated for spicing up the action or suspense, it does a great job keeping the story to how it actually was. The disbelief from the colleagues and the hospital management, and the treatment of the relatives of the victims was played quite a bit down. The alienation of her at the hospital was and still is unfortunately something she'll deal with on a day to day basis, and she should've gotten a damn medal for her heroism. Cause it would just get worse and worse over time, and I'm actually glad she wasn't in some of the bigger hospitals in the country because she'd most like would never had been caught, or caught way too late. As a family member of one of her early victims, I'm grateful for her and what she did. The show did an excellent job and hopefully they will change their system so it doesn't happens again.
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities (2022)
Amazing start, but at the end I maybe was looking for more
The first episodes are amazing, but the last episode especially is terrible. The Murmuring episode is boring and annoying. You follow another crazy selfish woman, that treats everyone around her like trash. And she somehow justifies that with idk, with her crazy mind. Edgar is right and all her whining and terrible behavior, is making me wish he'd either leave her or she died. She cares even more about some random dead people, than she does about Edgar. It's 1 hour of her selfish, irrational, delusional thoughts and feelings, and she should've been in a mental hospital to begin with. I don't get why we have to see some crazy, annoying woman, be all whiny and a b word. If I wanted to see someone sad and crazy, I'd walk to a mental institution and not wasting a hour looking at this lonely bird person. Her behavior is toxic, and honestly, it has no place in a show like this. The whole crazy woman story is all too common and it's just a cheap way of coming up with something, that isn't there. If it wasn't for other episodes in the series, I'd rate it way lower. But please, for all of our sakes. Stop making crazy women into content, unless it's actually entertaining. And not some whiny annoying person, that nobody would wanna be with in the first place.
Euphoria (2019)
Weirdly glorification of being a self centered teen
I've been watching it and I'm now in the middle of s2. So far it's just glorifying being a junkie brat, being manipulative, selfish, and a whole lot of other toxic stuff. And it acts like it's a woke show, but in reality, they are just wrapping it in with a polished picture, but it's a distorted portrait of todays teens and a distortion of reality. And also this is a show about teens but not for teens? Or what's the thing here? Cause everybody knows 11+ year olds watches this and thinks that's a "cool" way to act or a good way to deal with problems. It's sad to see shows have so much control over young people these days...
