Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000)
Legends Never Die!
"Urban Legends: Final Cut" is the unofficial sequel to 1998's horror hit "Urban Legend" which starred Alicia Witt, Jared Leto and Rebecca Gayheart.
This time stars a different cast. Jennifer Morrison is great as the lead (also she was the ghost from "Stir Of Echoes") and the former teen heartthrob Joseph Lawrence (previously Joey) is pretty annoying in it. This time sets in a film school in which Amy (Jennifer Morrison) is trying to do a movie about a serial killer basing his murders in ways resembling urban legends but soon her crew members are dying one by one, soon Amy discovers that they really died and that a killer is the responsable of their deaths.
The deaths were more freaky than the first and most of the ways on how they die are usually based on urban legends, well the electrocution scene isn't based on an urban legend but the place that it takes makes it an urban legend. Also other urban legends that were used are: people filming their victim's death, a body tied into the bell, the 'kidney' and the midnight scream.
The acting is great, the direction of John Ottman is great, the scares are better than the first and the twists were like a "Scooby Doo"-ish episode.
Overall, it's a great sequel to a great film. Final Veredict: 8/10.
Josie and the Pussycats (1970)
The funniest show I've ever seen!
"Josie And The Pussycats" is one of the funniest cartoon shows I've ever seen, it was released in the decade that appeared one of the most popular cartoon shows in that time - yes i'm talking 'bout Scooby-Doo -, the real star and show stealer is Alexandra Cabot (well known in Latin America as Alejandra Cabot), she is the funniest character of the TV and she makes the show funnier than his brother Alex. The show is now showed on Cartoon Network Latin america's new channel Boomerang.
Also other of the most funniest parts of the show is the wacky cat Sebastian.
Valentine (2001)
Excellent horror movie!
Valentine (2001) Rating: *** 1/2. Starring: Denise Richards, David Boreanaz, Marley Shelton, Jessica Capshaw, Jessica Cauffiel and Katherine Heigl. Directed by: Jamie Blanks. Distribuited by: Warner Brothers, Village Roadshow Pictures and NVP Entertaiment.
In 1996, "Scream" awakened the teen horror genre with new formulas for scare people and worked, i loved that film and after came the great sequels and after that came some movies with the same formulas of "Scream" like 1997's horror hit "I Know What You Did Last Summer", 1998's slasher hit "Urban Legends". Both movies got sequels that i respectively loved but both movies didn't like to some people.
This time it takes the not-so-teen slasher thriller "Valentine", directed by Urban Legend's Jamie Blanks and starring some very well known stars like Wild Things' starrer Denise Richards, TV's Angel star David Boreanaz, and TV's "Roswell" star Katherine Heigl and also stars some actors that aren't very well known like Kate Capshaw's daughter Jessica Capshaw and "Urban Legends 2" Jessica Cauffiel.
It tells the story about a group of girls in their 20s being terrorized by a serial killer who turns out to be the nerdy kid that they terrorized in the sixth grade taking revenge of them. The movie manages some cool scares and cool deaths. The acting is very good, the almost newcomer Marley Shelton gives a great acting and knows something to be thrilled, althought Denise Richards gives a such moderate bad/good acting. The script would have been better with some better dialogues, but Jamie Blanks' directing is extremely excellent like his previous film "Urban Legend". The killer is pretty scarier than hell like Michael Myers. In this movie you don't know what weapon he will use in time of killing, is cooler!
I recommend you to keep in the edge to the movie and I give *** 1/2 stars.
The Relic (1997)
What a cool and scarier movie!
"The Relic" is for me the most coolest monster movie I've ever seen.
Penelope Ann Miller did a great job as the leading star of the movie, Tom Sizemore did an excellent job as the co-lead and Clayton Rohner did very good as another co-lead. The acting was fine. The FX were cool, the scares and deaths were absolutely AWESOME! The director Peter Hyams did a great job directing the movie.
The movie tells the story about a female doctor who works in a museum, she discovers that something rare is happening inside the museum, she discovers that security guard of the museum is macabrely murdered in the bathroom, but she soon discovers alongside Tenient. Vincent D'Agosta (Tom Sizemore) that there's a monster that is very hungry on discapitating people during an exhibition. The exhibition will become in a hell of pure terror.
Excellent horror movie. I hope they make a sequel soon.
I give this movie in the scale of 1 to 10 stars: 9 stars.

Black Christmas (1974)
One of the most frightening horror movies of all time!
I rented "Black Christmas" and all I can say is WOW! This movie give chills and scares. The movie is wonderfully acted and Margot Kidder is great playing the alcoholic girl named Barb. This is one of the greatest horror movies ever made.
Scary Movie (2000)
The most funniest movie I have ever seen!
"Scary Movie" might be the most funniest movie I have ever seen.
The movie is about a clueless group of teenagers stalked by a bumbling serial killer. The movie is a spoof to all horror clichés and also spoofs horror movies like "Scream" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer. Carmen Electra, Anna Faris and Shannon Elizabeth were great in the movie. The movie leaves no horror just comedy, the movie was great.
I give 8 stars out of 10 stars. I highly recommend it.
Urban Legend (1998)
"Urban Legend" 8.5 out of 10
"Urban Legend" tells the story about Natalie (Alicia Witt) who suspects that the mysterious killings that are happening in the college that she is studying are based on urban legends but her friends thinks that the deaths are pure coincidences. While Natalie inestigates on about hoe they are connected and cathch the killer before she becomes an urban legend.
"Urban Legend" was a clever, scary and funny slasher thriller. This one was a VERY decent horror movie. Alicia Witt, Rebecca Gayheart and Jared Leto made a decent acting. The deaths were cool including a cool death of the blonde girl Sasha (Tara Reid).
I give the movie 8.5 out of 10. I highly recommend this one!
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)
A pretty good movie
The sequel to 1997's sleeper hit "I Know What You DId Last Summer" titled "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer".
The movie was a pretty good movie, it was scary and frightening as the first, a better Ben Willis appeared in this one. The perfomances of Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy, Jennifer Esposito and Jeffery Combs are excellent! I liked the music (not the score).
I give it 7.5 out of 10.
Turbulence 2: Fear of Flying (1999)
"Turbulence II: Fear Of Flying" is pretty good
"Turbulence II: Fear Of Flying"
Released by: Trimark Pictures. Release date: August 2nd, 2000 (VENEZUELA; theatrical release), Fall 2000 (USA; video premiere).
I saw the movie in theaters here in Venezuela and i thought that the movie was pretty good. The movie has a pretty bad plotting and Bad/Good acting. This movie was the first Trimark movie to be released in theaters in Venezuela. Although that the film's ending was pretty bad, they're making "Turbulence III" which has a bad plot and will be released on video and (internationally) in theaters.
I rate "Turbulence II": *** out *****
House on Haunted Hill (1999)
HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL is the most scariest horror movies that I've ever seen in years!
HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL is a very scary horror movie and the best after THE RELIC. I loved Ali Larter and Famke Janssen, they did good job in it!
I rate it a 8.5/10.
Scream 3 (2000)
Scream 3 is a awesome horror/comedy!
'Scream 3' is the most funniest horror movie that I've ever seen in years!
Neve Campbell did a good job, Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette did good jobs and Parker Posey did an awesome job.
