Big Cats from a Different Angle

I have really enjoyed this great series. It sheds new light on the history and evolution of big cats. The data contained in this series is interesting and the new perspective with which the big cats are investigated in wonderful.

First, I think we can all agree this CGI is horrendous. None of the sabertooths look even somewhat realistic. 2nd: they do this thing where they photoshop real cats into a landscape, which is really stupid and noticeable. What I did enjoy was learning the evolutionary history of the big cats, and seeing footage of them. That snow leopard segment where it shows it tackle a goat and fall down a cliff was some crazy footage. Other than that, nothing of this series was spectacular.
