How to Get Away With Murder is still one of network TV's finest shows, and for a reason. This episode devoted the majority of its time to the Supreme Court case the show has been dealing with for almost an entire season now - and it played out beautifully. Not a lot of shows would have a moment of complete silence to make a point. HTGAWM, however, still pushes the envelope exactly when it needs to and is network television's benchmark. Peter Nowalk and the entire writing staff should take a bow for being continuously bold, creative and innovative. Glynn Turman and Liza Weil deliver incredibly layered, emotional and heart-felt performances that feel like they are taken straight out of real life. And Viola Davis does what she always does, by now we're just used to her undeniably exceptional portrayal of Annalise.

The Trial

Nate, Sr. is finally brought to court to attempt to put up an insanity defense. Annalise is feeling things collapse around her, so she brings her students into the mix. They begin to give her a fresh view of things. She and Conner have a big confrontation and she allies herself with the new guy. We have some interesting stuff revealed to us. Bonnie has to make a big move at the end. Again, there are those bleak teasers at the wedding reception.
Magnificent!

What kind of a message are these writers trying to convey exactly? I think I already know the answer... And why so many people will « hate» my comment. How hypocritical... The part where « silence » was called, is the best moment. It prevents us from all the pile of commonplaces a so called renowned lawyer, used to sway this very easy to influence jury...
