Good Enough
PennyReviews12 October 2018
Witch's love was an interesting drama. It had a light story with a nice mythology behind it and some mysterious past issues that the characters had to fight through. But for me, the highlight of the drama was the romance. The couple had extremly good chemistry and the drama didn't shy off to show us skinship and intimacy. The love story, moreover, was really sweet and cute overall. Now, the negatives of this show were A) that they handled too many stories and twists and they didn't manage to solve everything. B) that the ending was rushed But, overall, they handled the magic stuff really well and the performances were decent as well.

Story started well. And because it is 12 episode drama, i even showed interest to see this drama. But because of lead character acting this drama totally ruined. Their chemistry was more than enough, all the kiss scene was too good. But love is not all about kiss, from begging to end lead main actor was too cold to her. Even his acting was also so bad. And same goes for lead actress. Both of them was totally failed to express their emotions in ever scene. Though lead actress was cute to cover it, but main actor was too annoying. Whenever they saw each other, they kiss each other without showing any romantic expression on face.

But some good thing was also in this drama.

First of all, not so deep love Triangle. I hate this love Triangle, most of the kdrama ruined by it.

Second, this story was simple, and was not so boring to watch.

After all this drama was somehow good romantic drama, but because of lead character bad acting, this drama is ruined. Still it is Worth to watch.

A magical story

Warning: Spoilers
The female lead plays Kang Cho-hong (Yoon So-hee) who learns the hard way that an act of betrayal can make a witch lose their magic. She is told she must find her destined one to have her magic restored. Enter a wealthy Director with a troubled past who buys the building where Cho-Hong and her two elderly grandmothers (also witches) make a magical rice soup that people cannot get enough of. One of her best customers, Hwang Jae-wook (Go Soo-Hee) is in love with Cho-Hong and not keen on the idea of the wealthy young building owner who decides to move in to solve a mystery from his past. I loved everything about this story. It was a little bit like Sabrina, maybe Practical Magic - just the right amount of magic sprinkled in. I love all the characters and the two Grandmas are great for comic relief. I liked the ending so much I had to rewind it and watch it again. This is one of my new favorites - it would be hard to pick between this and I am not a Robot.

Started well ,ended bad

It is a cute story and the romance is good but everything else is so bad. Too many things needed to be explained like :what will happen to the mother? what about the secretary and his marriage? the girl friend who showed in the first episodes and then vanished like thin air? Also the end is very disappointing and did not do anything good to the plot,do not remind me of the silly memory loss like wow i did not expect that at all.
