A ridiculous premise and script
skpn12330 May 2021
Though not as irritating as Movie 2 was still crazily unrealistic. A disappointment after a promising start in Movie 1.

As other reviews highlighted, a little bit of research into probate law could have at least added a little authenticity.

Are you ready to start the rest of our lives?
cgvsluis27 February 2021
The B&B, Emily's country Inn, has been open for a year and Jenny is looking forward to being a fall bride. The couple has a unique way of making wedding decisions...as in Ricky the goat picks their wedding invitations and Brian sets out to build his bride a gazebo. Jenny has invited most of the town to share the joy of their wedding/union.

"I bake it, you sell it."-Jenny to Brian

The usual cast of characters are back...the coffee shop owner-Casey, the general store owner-Tommy, Brian's friend and former coworker-Harry, our blogger and B&B reviewer-Susan, the town staple-Vern, next door neighbor-Alice and the goats (although the kids got a swap out and what happened to the singing tow truck driver, I thought he might perform at the wedding?).

Brian reconnects with his estranged father...and Jenny finds out she has a long lost cousin, Meg, who is in town to claim 1/3 of the B&B which Brian and Jenny can't afford. With their pending wedding, they might be forced to sell the inn.

"We may lose the house, but it is the memories that we keep."-Brian

"You do know you can take the sunset with you."-Brian

This was a beautiful conclusion of Hallmark's All of My Heart series. (Although I am secretly hoping we will get to see them with actual kids, not the goat kind.)

Love this series but the storyline is totally incorrect
jml19885 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I love these characters and setting, but there is NO WAY Meg would be entitled to a dime. I would never have even allowed her to stay there! They were so polite and nice to her despite what she was doing, which, let's face, no human would be capable of. They should have created a more believable, legally possible plot. Once probate is over, no dispute is possible!!

Meg isn't entitled to one third of its present value.
davidb1-853-6365951 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Its not clear from the movie, but one could assume that the probate of Emily's estate should have been completed by the beginning of this third movie. Another poster here opined that Meg would be out of luck if probate was completed. However, assuming that Meg Riley was allowed to contest the estate, I think it is clear that she is NOT entitled to one third of the present value of the Inn.

At most, I think she would be entitled to a 25% share of what was inherited. It looks like the descendants have been grouped using the concept "per stripes" meaning by the branch. Meg is part of the same branch of Emily's descendants that Jenny is part of. So, Meg, if she gets anything, would only be entitled to up to one half of Jenny's share.

Emily was Jenny's aunt snd Meg is described as a second cousin. Jenny is more closely related to Emily than Meg is. So, Meg's share should be even be less than 25%, because she is a more distant relative of Emily than Jenny.

Assuming Meg Riley is found to be entitled to a share of the Inn, the next question is what value does Meg Riley have a share of. I don't think she would be entitled to a share of the present value of the Inn. If she is entitled to a share, it would be a share of the value the property on the date of Emily's death . . . not of the present value of the Inn.

You may recall the property was "mess" when they first got it. Bad plumbing, bad wiring, leaky roof etc. Meg is not entitled to share in the value they added to the property by re-wiring the house, fixing the plumbing, patching the leaky roof and painting etc.

In the movie, Meg claims her share is worth more than $100,000. I don't think the property they inherited in the first movie was worth $300,000. I'm not saying the Inn was worthless when they inherited it, but its present value (of apparently more than $300,000) is mostly the result of the all value they added since they inherited the property.

Finally, I am appalled by the ignorance and indifference displayed by the lawyer they consulted in this movie regarding Meg's claim that she is entitled to over $100,000. This is not a complicated matter. The lawyer should have immediately seen these issue in Meg's claim.

Charming wedding
TheLittleSongbird5 June 2023
2018's 'All of My Heart: The Wedding' is the third and last film in the 'All of My Heart' trilogy. Really liked the first film, but was rather disappointed in the second. So was hoping that this second sequel would be as good as the first or somewhere in between. 2018's Fall Harvest block was surprisingly consistent, in that all of the films in it were good and more (something not achieved with that block in previous or succeeding years). It was easily the most consistent and best seasonal block that year.

'All of My Heart: The Wedding' is one of the weaker 2018 Fall Harvest films, but that it is still well worth watching in a good way says a lot about how surprisingly good that block was. Of the three 'All of My Heart' films it is the second best, not as good as the first film but a lot better than the second. It is brought down significantly by one major aspect that affected the realism. There is still though a lot to like and it does very well at wrapping things up.

Getting the big elephant in the room out of the way, it is agreed that 'All of My Heart: The Wedding' is spoilt somewhat by everything with the probate legalities, which are really sloppy and unrealistic and it is a big issue when a sizeable part of the plot. Also agree that the third inheritor angle was overused and soapy.

Maybe the pacing could have been tighter at times.

For all those not so good things, there is a lot done well. Lacey Chabert is incredibly charming without even having to try hard, it just comes naturally to her and comes out effortlessly. Brennan Elliott is easy going and down to earth and in an understated way, and he didn't seem stiff to me. They had a lovely sweet genuine chemistry together that doesn't start off too perfectly and it does grow in a way that didn't feel rushed or too slow. The rest of the cast are strong.

On a further note, the characters were easy to connect with and while they are typical for Hallmark they didn't come over as too stereotyped or derivative. Jenny is much more sympathetic this time compared to 'Inn Love' and is not as selfish. The new characters introductions were done well, the father reconnection had a lot of heart and easy to relate to (though it could have gone into more depth). The production values are attractive, especially the suitably picturesque scenery and the music isn't overused or overscored while still having presence. The direction is assured enough and it's all present or correct, if not award worthy.

Script is light-hearted and flows naturally, while not being cheesy or over sentimental and any hostility is not overdone. The story has a lot of heart and doesn't take itself too seriously, while treating the subject with enough maturity. The ending is truly uplifting and touching, not too pat this time.

In summary, good end if not quite up the same standard as the first. 7/10.

A Beautiful Fall Fairy Tale & That Pesky Probate
business-888497 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I watch a lot of Hallmark movies. I mean a lot. : ) So I notice the formulas, similarities, etc. But this movie differs in some important ways that are improvements. It's nice to see because with all the new movies coming out, they have to change some plot lines to make the movies unique.

Some of the things I love about this movie are the amazing photography and setting for the home. The Fall detail throughout is beautiful. And the music is warm and enjoyable, turned way down in the background, instead of the same loud and obvious score music they often use.

The couple has real chemistry and seem like people, not actors. The addition of the scene that recalls "It's A Wonderful Life" is woven in nicely without being too obvious at first. And who wouldn't fall in love with the adorable goats running around all the time?

I have seen others mention probate issues around the will in the story. I'm not a lawyer but I've done research about what happens in this plot. While the amount Meg asks for may be questionable, it's a small point. The larger challenge of Meg's claim about the will is actually plausible. The will can be contested after probate is closed since Meg is an heir and within a reasonable statute of limitations. Meg herself says the will was properly executed. She only wants to be included and have her claim acknowledged and paid for since she missed the original notification. This is allowed for in the law, since it can and does happen like in the movie. I'm sure they are stretching the idea a bit but not to an unbelievable degree. As I say later, Meg's claim is never legally recognized as valid by going to court. She makes her case via other means. "The time deadline varies from state to state, but states generally try to afford a missing heir a reasonable number of years to come forward and claim his inheritance." Another factor in the story is that the couple chooses not to try and refute her claims because it would "cost more than what Meg is asking for". So it is not a given that her claim and the amount she is asking for are valid. The couple are the ones who choose to accept and not fight the claim. That makes the story more realistic in my view as that is what many people might do, especially "nice" people like this couple.

I recommend that you enjoy this movie for the wonderful scenery, goats, beautiful home, romance and the ideal of what can happen in a small town setting. Sure, it's a fairy tale like a lot of these movies are. But goodness knows, we need more reminders of what a more loving world could look like. Where even a hard heart like Meg has can be softened by love and care.

Surprise, they get married
jewhitmer2528 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Chabert and Elliott are at it again.

Just when we thought it would be all sunshine and lollipops for Jenny and Brian, the cousin Jenny never knew she had shows up to collect her third of the property. Oh, alas and alack, will they have to sell the Inn? No, but it's fun to see how it all plays out. The townspeople all contribute money to help save the Inn for Jenny and Brian, but it's not nearly enough to buy out the evil money- grubbing cousin. But wait the cousin is not so evil after all, the wicked witch has a heart. All is resolved, the wedding goes on as planned. Happy ever after. Thank you Hallmark.

As usual Hallmark's perfect couple does an incredible job and they manage to create a very good movie. Kudos Chabert and Elliott.

My advice: Good family film, watch it together. It truly is worth watching.

Beautiful way to wrap up a Hallmark fan favorite
TVblabber16 October 2018
Nothing like a Lacey Chabert movie to warm your heart. It's so easy to fall in love with the couple, the town, the goats and right down to the squeeky "singing sink." It's not upbeat and cheesy, it's more warm and inviting like a cup of hot herbal tea. Its easy to see why this 3 part story was voted a fan favorite. It was not meant to go beyond the first one but when fans urged them for more they gave them what they wanted. If you're focused on what's realistic or accurate you're probably in the wrong place. Much like a Christmas movie, the focus is on the impossible or improbable, but makes you want to forget that and for an hour or two. If there's a matchmaking Santa, a woman who finds a kid's letter asking for a Mom and becomes that, a magical ornament or snow globe, or an angel who turns out to be in a coma who finds her true love, you might giggle or even joke about it (from another perspective-stalkers, people who break into an amnesiac's condo, or emotional cheaters, etc lol) you just don't over-analyze it you just enjoy it for what it is. Why put a limit on the season for a good, clean, likeable story? It's Hallmark! It's the magical land where everyone is an awesome baker and if you're not you're soon to become one. It's literally sweet! If you're anything like me, you don't turn to Hallmark for realism, you turn to it to escape...escape to the land of Hallmark where every town is friendly, every place is beautiful, families are healed and true love can happen in a weekend! Watch it or don't watch it. That's up to you, but I think this one is worth it. You may even shed a few unexpected tears.

Why Change the Inn & more?
wallyreidjr2 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Change isn't always good, taking the basic Hallmark formula and changing it. The 1st film before the sequel worked it had charm, it had character that grew on you and that's because of the inn and the people in the supporting cast but that all changed. The Inn now a B&B completely different, cleaned up the supporting cast and tried to make it more modern, why? As always things are fine, the misunderstanding or an issue arises, a few tense moments and at the end everyone comes together, the disappointing part was it didn't come together in their original quirky house and that in its self is why this sequel really disappoints

All of My Heart: The Wedding
studioAT27 March 2021
The 'All of My Heart' series continues for Hallmark, with this 'wedding themed' third film.

I thought the second one created silly reasons for trying to create a wedge between the characters that obviously would be resolved in the end, so this one worked much better for me.

Yes, the legal side probably doesn't hold up to much scrutiny, but there's so much fun in watching Elliot and Chabert interact.

They should probably stop at three though.

Third time even better
t-mccheyne20 January 2019
I have loved all three films. I have grown attached to all the characters in the town as well as the happy couple, and would love their stories to be embellished. The introduction of Dad...well this can be added more to. In essence I want another film...expecting...?......more love found in the Inn. I do hope so. Ps love the goats too.

Better than the last one...but...
cbuerry8 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I loved the first movie and glad the trilogy ended on a happy note. However Meg is not entitled to a third of the property. At best it would be 25% - one half of Emily's share. Another point - Brian says they took a second on the house. If they owned the house free and clear it wouldn't be a second mortgage - it would be simply a mortgage. Then they say the the property is the house and 20 acres. How about sell 10 acres and pay off Meg?? Finally at the wedding you see there is a fully functional farm...if that was their's why not address selling it to pay her off? At least they used the same house, town and goats as the second movie. 🤔

Warning: Spoilers
Love my Hallmark movies I have seen the 1st 2. Which were really good. But reading reviews before I watch. Wish the facts they say in the movie about the probate was on the up and up, but was not. Be that as they may. I will watch it cause if it's anything like the 1st 2; it will be great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie despite what others said about probating the will, etc. Enjoy is for what it is. A movie about love, kindness, and caring. Yes, typical Hallmark but that's what I love about Hallmark.

Opposing Point of View
barlowralph2 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I write in opposition to the other three reviewers. You may well be correct about the legalities, etc., but HEY! - just accept the premise and enjoy the movie. We thought it was a lovely story; we enjoyed how the distant relative gradually grew to love the place too, and especially how the community, inspired by Jenny's warmth and loving nature, got together to help them out. Oh, sure, it's a predictable Hallmark movie, but it's a sweet story, the characters of Jenny and Brian were well played, not overly sappy. Just watch it and enjoy.

Some plausibility please
azizian115 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I'm already suspending disbelief with Hallmark characters falling in love in 2 day and getting married 4...I'm good with that. But the least you can do is put some reality into the rest of the story. I had to fast forward through all the probate stuff because it was so incredibly inaccurate. Movie lasted about 30 min. Shame because I really like the series.

Beautiful ending to a great trilogy
MickyG33329 April 2023
8.0 stars.

I am actually wiping tears of sadness and joy at the end of this journey of love. This trilogy is probably one of, if not THE BEST package Hallmark has ever produced. Funny thing, it took three or four months to record all three. I watched the first one way, way back, then I recorded this one several weeks later, but did not see the second one: 'All of My Heart: Inn Love' on the guide at all, so this sat waiting on my DVR for months. Finally I saw "Inn Love" and recorded it only to find out it was mis-advertised, darn Hallmark Channel pulled a bait and switch. I had to wait another few weeks to finish the series, so it's a few months in the making, but very much worth the wait.

This film has a little bit of everything good Hallmark has to offer. It is the crowning work of both Chabert and Elliot in my opinion. Sure, they've both been in so many films, and probably other films together as co-leads, but not in a trilogy of this magnitude. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying these films were so good they will knock your socks off, even so much as make you flutter inside (maybe), but as a one-two-three punch, these films are very admirable and inspiring. If you want to own a Hallmark trilogy, look no further.

Doesn't live up to the original.
savethewatchmaker2 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
While it very nearly tries to drown itself in nostalgia (and almost gets away with pulling the audience alongside), the third movie of this trilogy, much like the second, just doesn't compare to the humor and romance of the first.

Many reviewers have gone to town discussing the legalities of the plot and just how plausible it truly is -- all that aside, I personally found the third inheritor angle to be an unfortunate writing choice. Not only did it feel like something out of a soap opera, but it took over the storyline so much that this movie could've easily been called "All of My Heart: The Cousin." It took a movie that was supposed to be about the happy occasion of a wedding and made it stressful and dreary to watch. Seeing Jenny and Brian fight to keep their house was tiring, especially when one had to start considering: why was Meg in such a hurry to be paid out immediately, or else? She gives no indiciation that she is in desperate need of this money; why was she not open to being paid in installments sooner? Why did she spend so much time around the inn after frequently besmirching it (and its plumbing, and its nature, and its friendly goat companions)? I find this movie would've been much stronger had it not wallowed in its own depression over this plotline, and rather focused on the wedding, as well as some of the other plotlines that were half-heartedly introduced in the movie. For instance: Brian's father, a character and a storyline that barely scratched the surface.

As a matter of fact, many plotpoints in this movie felt unnecessary if not poorly executed if only because they weren't given the proper effort or time to be fleshed out. Brian's father was just the start of this, but continued with the storyline of Brian helping Jenny franchise her baking. After their failed delivery attempt (which -- why did the movie go through the trouble of introducing a new character for this scene? Why not just have Brian break down on the road with his truck?), this part of the story is all but swept under the rug. We instead spend most of our time with Meg, who fails to see herself (until the end) as the very obvious antagonist of this story, failing to notice that she is all but turning two people out of their homes so she can quickly cash in her third of the inheritance (and again, if she had been introduced as someone who desperately needed financial assistance, rather than a well-off accountant in pristine pantsuits, this might've made her more sympathetic). Perhaps the only thing more annoying than Meg herself is the way Jenny acts around her, so eager to accomodate and befriend someone who has shown her no warmth or compassion all because she's the closest thing she has to family, never mind that, for all intents and purposes, the dozens of people in town willing to donate to her cause treat her more like family than Meg does.

The film banks very much on people's love of the characters and the familiarity of the storyline (although, frankly, I still am not over the switch from one house to another between the first and second movie) to make it successful, and I must admit, all these characters are so likeable, and Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliot have such astounding chemistry, that the movie gets away with it. That being said, I would've enjoyed this movie so much more had it been more like its predecessor. The first movie played very much on the humor of their relationship and renovating a house together, and even with its own drama, remained light-hearted in nature. This movie was heavy to a fault, which the sad piano refrains in every other scene makes sure to emphasize. A movie about juggling the wedding, Jenny's franchising, and Brian's dad would've been wonderful without the additional drama the Meg plotline introduced. I couldn't help but compare it to the Perfect Bride series: its sequel retains the energy and chemistry of the first film, and its plot revolves simply around two people trying to figure out how to balance their adult lives and tasks alongside their relationship and wedding, without overcomplicating or dramatizing the whole ordeal. I truly wish All of My Heart: The Wedding would've followed suit.

(And lastly, although it wasn't a problem in the movie, I was thoroughly expecting Brian's father to help finance the remainder of the money owed to Meg after witnessing the charitable donation given to Brian and Jenny by the town. It was something of a surprise that he offered no help at all!)
