Stupid

The movie began ok, but got worse by the minute. It really jumped the shark when the nanny and the boyfriend broke into the house towards the end. To mention a few of the stupider things...when you have someone knocked out, haven't they seen enough Lifetime movies to know that they get up as good as new a minute later? When the couple hid in the laundry room, the nanny banged on the door for five minutes while the boyfriend stood there watching like an idiot with the crowbar in his hand. And look! There's a window! Don't think to climb out of it. Not for a while anyway. I'll give the dad credit for his acting. He acted like his leg really did hurt. And he didn't jump up as good as new a minute later. But overall, you have to watch this to see how stupid it is. But then again, don't bother.

Half of it didn't make sense!

The whole way through the film the nanny was obsessed with the 4yr old girl. At the end when the parents were locked in the laundry room with the baby why did the nanny bang on the door for 10 minutes wanting in when she could have just looked for the girl and left with her????!!!!. Stupid film!.

Female psycho supported by (psycho?) guy

This is typical psycho obsession movie, like in many other lifetime channel movies. Where there is psycho, we can expect obsession, and vice versa. There are lack of story, details, and mystery in this movie. There are many so slow and boring parts. But good is the lesson. Lesson is to be aware of any obsessions around us, whatever the object of obsession is. Also we should never rely on anybody to take control or fix or do things for us, be it car, home security system, home appliance, computer or anything. We should learn how to use things and use them without relying on others for survival or important life matters. This movie also teaches us to kill or be killer, as is in real life, sometime we have to make OR choice, no other 3rd option unfortunately.

I must be too nice

There's always been a part of me who wants to support any actors or actresses from Indonesia whenever they try to start acting career in another country. Like, there's still a part of me who wants to believe that they could be casted in a pretty decent movie and their performance may be good in general. It usually never came true. But, this movie and Cinta Laura's performance were like on another level. Another level of disappointment. I'm actually surprised that someone could be more disappointing than Chelsea Islan in Merry Riana. And that's already super disappointing for me.

Bad acting and lame story.

Lifetime thrillers have been getting better in general recently but this one is a step backwards. The acting is wooden - the wife and husband don't seem to try to act scared during the final confrontation.

There is not much explanation for the nanny's behavior / wackoness. It's only slightly interesting in the beginning when the security system is set up

I've watched several Nanny movies, and there's no difference with this--exact same plot. I dont understand why they keep producing the exact same plot movies over and over: The Nanny (2018), DEVIOUS NANNY (2018), Nanny Cam (2016), Nanny Nightmare (2013); nevertheless, the acting is horrible.

I am one hour and 11 minutes in and the acting is so terrible I don't know why I am still watching this movie. But I guess I should see how it ends.

It baffles me how movies like these actually get written, produced, distributed... HOW? The acting is horrible, the script is horrendous, the direction is a disaster and everything in between is a complete mess. I might have given this 2 stars if the genre was listed as comedy instead of a thriller. AVOID this title at all costs.

I love Lifetime movies but MY GAWD! The acting was atrocious!! I thought at times I was watching a SNL skit! Don't bother people. Not worth your two hours .....not worth 5 minutes.

Horrible acting, weak motive, inexplicable characters, no sense of urgency at the end, weird twists that make no sense. Plot could have been written by a middle schooler. Don't waste your time.

Whats really terrible about this movie, cheap movie with only 7 actors and one fake baby.

When u see that the security system company car providing expensive home security system but come to the clients house with a white fan + home printed paper sticking to the car written Vault (AT LEAST PUT REAL STICKER FROM AUTO SHOP),

All the actors is terrible at acting ( especially the indonesian one.. go back to sinetron in your country!!!) All the act is either exagerating when cinta laura keep screaming or they dont have the right expression when they are scared. For example: when DAN (security system guy) come with a weapon on his hand, no one in the house is scared with the weapon (look at their face expression when they see DAN with the weapon.)

Learn to act and learn to make the story better from a lot of refferences of movies please before deciding to make THIS kind of movie.

Terrible movie and i REGRET that i watch it until i saw that the antagonist is indonesian sinetron actress (i forbid myself to watch movies with sinetron actor or actress from indonesia)

If your movie can't stand on its own legs, you shouldn't have made it.

While the story is not a bad one, the worst part was when the mother and father were holding that crying baby - it was so obvious there was no baby... one would think that after all the great movie - one learns to plan such scenes to make it look as real as possible. Some of the acting is terrible. I have watched loads of lifetime movies but some are just terrible acting and directing or production. There are so many nanny movies and many end up with the same crazed woman - obsessed and psychotic. It would be nice to change the story a bit. But this level of quality in a movie is just bad. I enjoyed the beginning but the end was just terrible that I switched off.

I feel like there was a story here, but they messed it up so badly.

To be honest I wasn't paying 100% attention so I may have missed a tidbit, but the first thing I thought when I saw the main characters' daughter was 'is she adopted?'. This is never explained.

At the end of the movie, you find out the psycho babysitter is actually her mother. Zero foreshadowing here. If they'd worked this HUGE plot point into the movie AT ALL, this movie miiiight have worked.

You also find out at the end the security system the main characters installed was... just completely invented by evil babysitter and friend? For the purposes of spying on them?! No foreshadowing for this at all either!? Just bizarre.

It was just a massive plot dump in the last 10 minutes that made me think 'WTF?! Why did they not even hint at any of this?!'

One intense movie, highly recommend!!!!

This movie starts off and slowly gets intense. i won't say much and will not give ANY spoilers. As i type this review, the movie is premiering on Lifetime on tv. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves thriller movies!!!

Good Movie and The Ending Can't Guess

Honestly the intensity in this film is truly one of a masterpiece, it's intense, mysterious and very gripping not too mention the acting is incredible I mean the way she broke that very REAL window was filled with such emotion adding to this the complete SHOCK on her face when she saw Rachel with her daughter was truly heart wrenching and let's not forget about that baby or should I say PROP but Yh overall, the film deserves a golden globe

Family Comes First

As trite as it may sound, family does come first. Being indulged into material life makes us forget about how important good upbringing is for our children's future lifestyle and wellbeing. One has to be there for their family and be ready to defend them against whatever threat there may be. All of these basic yet essential concepts were reaffirmed by this good thriller.
