The market is full of fake product. Vendors selling inferior product in new and shiny packaging.... But this happens only occasionally when something good is seen.......great movie...!!!

Give this a go you will not regret it - Shame these types of films do not get better recognition

It's extremely frustrating when poor, predictable and lifeless bollywood films keep becoming box office hits whilst films such as these are only seen by a minority.

This a is fantastically directed film which is extremely thought provoking. The character build ups are so well entwined as part of a magical journey. The acting is superb and the plot is magnificent.

It touches upon social issues and historic events and you are left at the edge of your seat to learn more about the lead character.

Unlike many Hindi films, this is not buttered up to the audience to give what the mainstream audience usually wants.

Ditch the mainstream and you will not regret for a moment what is a well crafted, emotional story.

It's all about simplicity of rehmat khan

An adaptation of the great KABULIWALA , this is also the great bioscopewala. Please make these type of movies because there is an audience who wants to see this .

I usually never review a film. This is my first review. Bioscopewala is a beautiful film, its a perfect adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's kabuliwala. Bioscopewala is the story of Rehmat Khan (Danny Denzongpa), a man uprooted from his homeland. He depends upon his bioscope for livelihood and emotional sustenance. After fleeing from his country, he ends up in Calcutta, where he befriends 5 year old minnie who is of the same age as his own daughter. Danny Denzongapa is the star of the movie. All the actors bring life to their characters. This movie inhabits the various shades of affection and complexities of human relationship. Watched such a good movie after a long time.

a sensitive film, well directed

#DannyDenzongpa plays the title role in #Bioscopewala n hes a treat to watch. I guess he isnt seen more frequently on the big screen because bollywood is unable to offer him respectable roles. The story starts with the heroine's return to her home in kolkatta, after she hears of her dad's death. There she sees an eccentric old man whos lost his memory n looks feeble n scared. Whos this man? Why is he staying at her place? Does she know him? Was he a father figure to her? Why wasnt she close to her real father? This is a sensitive film, well directed by #DebMedhekar. Good performances by the entire cast. The theme song is nice. The short running time is an added advantage. Rating 3/5.

One of the Most emotional films i have ever seen.....please watch it at least once.....i am sure you will experience the real meaning of humanity......All star cast is just wonderful.....it left a great impression .....i feel so motivated after seen this.... a wonderful adaptation of the classic

The movie is a contemporary adaptation of the much loved classic short story "Kabuliwala" by Rabindranath Tagore.It deals with a spectrum of incidents and emotion without overdoing it and that's the best part about this film.All the actors portray poignant and powerful performances.Honestly, I did'nt expect it to be this good before actually watching the movie.It sure packs a surprise for everyone.The cinematography is exemplary , production design is fabulous ( I could see lot of effort has gone into it ) and direction is superlative . Overall it's the kind of cinema I have not seen in a long time.Kudos to everyone involved in this project.

It's amazing to know that there still are such wonderful directors and producers to produce such riveting movie. Hats off to all the lead actors especially Geetanjali Thapa for such powerful performance, which see so natural and real.

Especially touching is highlighting the love of a father, a man, towards his children. Usually forgotten in the hoopla of mother days and women empowerment, movie brings out the emotion of a father which make him endure the pain of a condemned life of a convict.

The movie might lose it's grip here and there but Danny and Kala don't let you slip away. A fine film from a debutante but for me, highlights were Kala and Danny.

What a movie... Danny and Geetanjali at their best. An amazing emotional rollercoaster ride. It is a must watch, you can watch it on Disney+ Hotstar. I am sincerely sorry and ashamed, I didn't watch it in theaters.

I was excited to watch it since the time I saw the trailer. But after that, I looked for this movie but failed to get a hold of this movie. Today after 3-4 years I watched it and it was as amazing as I was expecting. I loved this movie. Tagore's touch on the story and the presentation ❤❤
