Sex & Nudity

  • Poison Ivy kisses kite man sometimes. All are brief.
  • Frequent mild to moderate sexual references and jokes
  • Damian asks Batman about sex and Batman runs away.
  • In season 3, Harley and Ivy go to a villain party and are surprised when all the villains drop their robes and start making love. Brief pixelated nudity, and mild sex (people shown rocking back and forth). It's animated so it's not overly graphic and is entirely played for comedy and is only shown briefly.
  • Harley is tied up by her underwear, and you see a glimpse of her naked butt
  • Harley is adamant that Batman has intercourse with bats.
  • Sex is talked about often and explicitly.
  • There are some sloppy make-out scenes.
  • Harley and Ivy are seen in a bed naked, but the blanket covers their nipples.
  • Male and Female characters often wear provocative dresses. Some instances of pixilated genitalia. Male characters often seek out sexual favors from female characters in exchange for their assistance.

Violence & Gore

  • Harley and her team fight through enemies. Using baseball bats, plant powers, and sludge powers.
  • Frequent animated violence and blood.
  • King Shark is regularly shown eating people.
  • Lots of violence, but it's not rampant in every episode and it's usually purposely over the top and very often played for comedy. Also, it's animated so it's not too gruesome.
  • The skinned face of a captain is shown being worn by a person, who then throws a gas bomb that causes the faces of around 4 people to be graphically melted off. He then stabs a person in the chest.
  • A person gets stabbed through the throat with a wooden pool cue.
  • A little girl is fully decapitated by closing elevator doors before her head is crushed under the foot of another character.
  • Around 30 family members, including teenagers and children, are found massacred by a large wolf.
  • A man is stabbed in the back of the head with a spear that exits through the mouth. His corpse is seen hanging with the spear impaled through his skull.
  • A character holding a knife has the blade forced into their chest before they are suddenly shot in the side of the head by a silenced pistol. Very shocking
  • A person is hit in the head with a baseball bat, causing blood to splatter onto the screen.
  • A broken wine bottle is thrown into the neck of a character and lodges in their throat. Lots of blood sprays.
  • Two characters have their throats suddenly slit with a leaf.
  • A sentient tree has its arm ripped off and is impaled through the mouth of another tree.
  • Overall, this show is EXTREMELY bloody.

Profanity

  • Uses of cursing throughout the series. strong language is mostly used such as very frequent use of the f-bomb and some uses of the s-word
  • Tons of f-bombs throughout the entire show. Mostly used as exclamations or for comedy.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Bruce Wayne drinks a glass of wine in one scene
  • Frequent mild consumption of alcohol. Occasional marijuana references. Harder drugs are mentioned on rare occasions, but never shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Violence is present,however most of the violence has or is followed by humor giving it comedic overtones and lightening the effect.

Sex & Nudity

  • Harley and Ivy hook up several times in the second season. Nothing is shown, just implied.

Violence & Gore

  • Harley's grandparents are both gruesomely shot by assassins; her grandmother is shot through the back of the face while her grandfather is shot through the back. Exposed bones, teeth and ribs are shown.
  • An assassin is struck in the eye by a knife thrown by Harley. She pulls the knife out of her exposed eyeball but is thrown against a table and is killed when Harley stabs her in the stomach.
  • Poison Ivy strangles a man with an ID card before stabbing a scalpel through the eye of another character. Two more people appear but are shot in the head by her.
  • The Queen of Fabels is struck in the head with a baseball bat and decapitated.
  • The Joker fatally impales Poison Ivy through the back with a large metallic flagpole.
  • A person is impaled under the jaw in the throat with a broken baseball bat, which then gets pulled out and causes a geyser of blood to spray out.
  • A small character is lifted into the air by their head and then their skull is crushed.
  • During a fight with Ken, Jack accidentally stabs him in the eye with a pencil.
  • Prince Shark is stabbed in the stomach by King Shark using the sharp helmet of Ocean Master.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In season 4 episode 5 Nightwing dies.
  • In season 4 episode 9 Batgirl gets shot and paralyzed by Joker.
  • Season 2 episode one New Gotham. Harley bites the penguins nose off then kills him with her broken bat.
