Typical "The Wring" movie..
scarletepilogue19 February 2022
This is a typical "the wrong" type movie. It's not awful, but it's not that good either. I like watching these movies even if their bad for some reason-sometimes I wonder why. The scene where Kim and Joey decide to dry hump and ultimately have sex right outside the grandfather's room after they just laid him down is far from sexy, that was kind of disturbing that the director thought that was necessary. Anyway, same story...woman falls for man within record time...man is bad news. It's astonishing how these people claim to fall in love literally within days.

Type cast
hoops-5343610 July 2021
Jessica Morris seems to have been type cast by LMN. She plays the gullible woman who falls into bed with a guy she hardly knows, only to find out he's bad news. The Wrong Man, The Wrong Teacher, The Wrong Student, The Wrong Fiance, Poolboy Nightmare, etc. When you see her on an LMN movie, you know what's going to happen.

Something wrong with granddaughter
nightroses4 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This film is about a really stupid woman named Kim. She went to her grandmother's funeral and introduced to her grandfather's creepy carer Joey. He's very sly but Kim ends up flirting with Joey. It didn't take her long to get into his pants, but they did it right next to sleeping grandfather, which was one of the most horrible sex scenes on TV. It turned out Kim didn't bother with her elderly grandparents for so long. Grandparents felt abandoned by Kim so they relied on Joey. It was sad to see grandfather suffering throughout the film. Kim only decided to look after her grandfather when she wanted the inheritance.

Disgusting LMN trash
poj-man30 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Even by LMN standards this is utter garbage.

Supposedly Joey takes care of Grandpa...who supposedly has Alzheimers. There are no other medical people involved in caring for Gramps. Gramps isn't crapping his pants and peeing everywhere. Nah...as long as Gramps is given his undefined pills he is OK.

Kim isn't much better. She moves in to help take care of Gramps...but there is no care involved. Instead it is sleep with makeup on and walk out on the parapet at 1:00 AM when texted by psycho hot shirtless caretaker living in the guesthouse. The lighting is 100% perfect on the parapet and in his room so they can ogle each others bodies while texting how hot they are.

It gets worse from there

This is appalling trash grossly insulting to people such as myself who were a caretaker to an elderly parent. The people involved with this project demonstrate zero understanding of what being a caretaker is like. They don't even try.

Instead it is painting a symptathetic picture of a souless female who deserves nothing.

Disgusting.

Kimberbee's Agony
lavatch24 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Little Kim was given the nickname "Kimberbee" by her loving grandparents, Fred and Jane. But after the tragic death of her parents, Kim distanced her self from them because the grief was unbearable. This led to a stranger named Joey, a psychopath, to enter into the lives of the grandparents as their caretaker. Joey had his sights set on taking over the house and getting the inheritance even if it meant murdering the kind old folks.

The interesting relationship that unfolded was between Kim and Joey. At first, Kim is attracted to the big hulk, who seems to be the perfect caregiver to old Fred, who is suffering from Alzheimer's. Within a twenty-four hour period, Kim sleeps with the charming Joey, then has regrets because of his quirky behavior. Kimberbee senses that something is wrong.

Kim's boss Jen is helpful in uncovering the multiple aliases of Joey and learning about his nefarious past. Indeed, Joey is a very bad man. Orphaned when his single-parent, junkie mother died, Joey was raised by sadistic grandparents, whom he eventually sent into the next world through CO2 poisoning. His scheme to get rich off of killing old folks takes a U turn when he begins to adore Kim's grandmother Jane. But that doesn't stop him from pushing her down the stairs to her death.

One of the highlights of the film was the character of the dear old grandpa Fred. The actor was extremely convincing in a moving and credible performance. Kim was also a genuinely caring granddaughter. But she very nearly made a fatal mistake in becoming attracted to a man who was an imposter and maniacal scammer.

Kimberbee needs better judgment that can only come from the wisdom of her kind boss Jen, who becomes the unsung heroine of the film. It was Jen who recognized right away that in the choice of a caregiver for the grandparent's Kimberbee's family go the wrong man.
