Good plot

This was a really plot but! All the "closeup" shots was horrible! Do I want to see faith putting on her lipstick so close I could see what she had for dinner! All the long shots of people driving everywhere, totally unnecessary to the plot! This is the second one that had been filmed like this, it must be a welsh thing because that was hinderland!

A brilliant end to what's been compulsive viewing.

I'd go so far as to say Keeping Faith has been the most gripping, mystery since Broadchurch, the first mystery series that's had me gripped throughout.

The story took so many twists, but the biggest of all occurs in this episode, the pieces once put together now begin to make sense. So many times you enjoy a series, and get let down by the final episode, not the case here, this was first class viewing. Superb performances once again, I cannot lavish enough credit on Eve Myles, she really has given her fines performances throughout this series.

The filming and production values were spectacular, and as for the music, it's the best I think I've heard on a TV series, it was superb. Still so many questions to be answered, how wonderful that a second series is coming.

Loved it. 10/10

Episode 1.8

After DI Williams getting arrested in the previous episode, you would think the pieces of the puzzle would neatly fall together.

Far from it. DI Williams may not like Faith but someone else in the police force is manoeuvring events. Faith and DI Williams reach a calculating detente of some sorts.

Meanwhile Faith's mother in law will not be invited to any Christmas gatherings. She turns up as a witness against Faith for the custody hearings. This did take me out of the drama. Why would the children's grandmother want to have them kept under care when frankly care homes have poor reputations? It would had made more sense if the grandparents requested custody instead.

Faith gets custody of her kids as long as she keeps away from Steve Baldini. However one of her child has gone missing which leads to the climax of the episode as the bent coppers are revealed.

Faith learns why Evan's had to disappear. The recent events has also bought her close to Baldini, maybe they are troubled but kindred spirits. The last shot leaves Faith conflicted.

Mark Lewis Jones has been another standout star in this drama. I have seen the actor is series such as Being Human and Torchwood in the past, always giving a solid performance. Here he gives a memorable performance.

A whodunit you keep praying will be over soon.

Honestly kept watching because I wanted to find out if the damn guy died or not. Music was abhorrent-Faith makes the dumbest decisions plus it's sooo slow. Actors deserve better.

A waste of hours of tv time. Now extended another 8 hours

Extraordinarily unlikely scenarios. Could have been completed in one episode. Developing into a soap.

Just curious

Like others, only watched to see if Evan was dead or not! Compared with Unforgotten or Line of Duty or even Bodyguard...pretty average. Won't miss the time filling car journeys, Faith eating strawberries on the beach (softish focus and nice music) etc. One of the most interesting characters was Cerys (short haired lawyer)...I'd be looking at a Keeping Cerys?
