Edit

Sex & Nudity

  • Some kissing between a couple.

Violence & Gore

  • There is some strong violence as two characters have their head repeatedly kicked by a group of boys due to the way the couple dressed. This is shown in some detail, with visible damage to their face and some blood around their head after the boys leave the area. However, the actual act is not shown in an explicit way and there is slightly more focus on how other members of the group react to such a cruel act of violence.

Profanity

  • The strongest term used is "fuck", and reflects on the location and how the characters would talk, despite being used fairly frequently.
  • There are some other milder terms, but are less frequent.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A group of older teenagers are seen smoking cigarettes.
  • There is implied alcohol use by the group of teenagers.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scene where two characters have their heads kicked repeatedly is very intense, brutal, shocking and upsetting. They are attacked purely because of the way they dress. Consequently, there is some injury detail and sight of footprint marks on their faces, which is also very upsetting.
  • A boy who knows about the attack is threatened by one of the attackers that if he tells the police the truth, they will beat him up.
  • This film is based on true events which occurred in 2007.
  • The BBC recommends that you should be at least 16 years of age before watching the film, due to the language, violence and upsetting nature of the content.
