This video was way ahead of its time, already featuring many of the most common visual elements of the later video clips made by Chris Cunnigham. (In many ways, it feels almost as a direct precursor of the "Come to Daddy" music video, made at the next year)
Also, notice how Cunnigham was already using the "skinny, faceless monster" archetype (Slenderman, the Crooked Man from the second Conjuring movie, etc.) long time before such type of character started being popularized on the internet during the next decade.
A shame it isn't more well known, since it has all the elements of an iconic music video. Some say the song is just average, but personally I think the song itself is also good, being pretty catchy. The contrast between the nightmarish imagery and the dynamic melody is one of the most effective aspects from it. Any other song just wouldn't do.
