What to do when you get ...
kosmasp27 December 2018
Pregnant. And it's not really a spoiler, the movie is all about that. There is actual a very intense scene, where our female leading actress is having intercourse, which ultimately leads to her getting pregnant. Now the story starts from there, because she still goes to school and has a "normal" life to live, not letting anyone know what happened to her.

The stigma that would be put upon her, the trouble she would get from multiple places. Now she is looking for solutions to get rid of that problem and that is where the Drama starts. It may or may not be engaging to watch her struggle, depending on your view but also movie watching habits. If you like to just be entertained by movies, this is not for you. If you like movies to challenge you, this might be something you might want to keep in mind. It really is quite the journey and it does feel really ... well real. Great main performance

Only camera plus twenty lines

The acting is strong, and the story has its effort but the other part lacks in many ways. If you like to watch movies that are slow and just camera angles, that's fine. But I got so frustrated when the shots were only of them eating, walking, staring at the window I mean what's the point of the director? I could not understand some parts of the movie because they were left out. They spoke twenty lines the whole movie and probably because of that I couldn't understand some background of the characters; it is like you are supposed to know and I had to search it on the Internet before I watched the movie. Watch it and maybe you'll like, who knows.

A movie that relates to the whole world !!

A big thanks to director Pablo Giorgelli's vision on a subject that is as delicate as a house build with cards, yet leaves a disastrous impression on the human psyche. Teen pregnancy is a delicate matter around the world, though the developed countries have handled it well for a few decades now with its infrastructure and attention. The topic is still a taboo in the developing and under developed parts of the world. Invisible can be treated as a show reel to understand the perils of pregnancy faced by a young teen and what not to do next, as shown in the movie.

Cinematography is the biggest asset of the movie with the choice of angles and super still frames throughout the movie oozes high quality. Screenplay is fantastic, right from the character introduction and to the step by step set up of the story, adds a certain tension in the viewers minds. Editing is very crisp and at a runtime at just 86 minutes does the job. Production design, costumes, makeup and music are good. The performance of Mora Arenillas as young Ely was very good, her portrayal of her emotions during the various stages of the movie was really nice. Sound design was really good.

Overall, though Invisible's ending might have a incomplete ending, according to many audiences, it's the director's vision that it be so. As not all stories have similar endings and at the end, it is up to the individual to choose the right course of action, according to the circumstances. So I agree the director's cut in drawing a blank at the end. The movie is recommended for all teens over 16 to understand the dangers that lurk casual sex and to the parents of such teens to understand the situation and how to be supportive during such times and avoid a family disaster. 7.1 stars out of 10 for the phycological thought process the movie provokes to a parent and a teen alike.

It was one of the worst films I have ever seen. Just waste of time.
