Saw this via YouTube's We are One festival and loved it. It feels very authentic, the actresses are all very good and has a very relatable and moving story. Highly recommend, you will find out a lot about 1990s Macau and how hard life was.

Thanks to the We Are One festival, we've been able to watch intelligent, sensitive films such as Sisterhood. Such a welcome change from Hollywood hackneyed productions which seem to be endlessly and relentlessly promoted in every film journal or website. If you want to watch real movies, go out into the world and watch films such as Sisterhood which credit the viewer with some intelligence. A lovely, moving film deserving of a much higher rating.
