This is a review for this particular episode, S1E2 entitled "Himalayas", not of the entire series.
This is by far my favorite episode in series "Tales by Light" series. The scenery is spectacular, and made more enjoyable by the fact that it's not very likely for a regular Joe to travel to Bhutan monasteries during the Fire Festival, or India during the Holi Festival, with unrestricted access, and without being crushed by crowds.
There are closeups of gorgeous, colorful costumes, and folk dances from Bhutan and India, during festivals.
The first part is shot in Bhutan, just gorgeous takes of monasteries, mountains, monks.
The second part of the show has spectacular closeups of a tiger.
The third part shows the Holi festival in Vrindavar, and after that, the Huranga festival in Mathura.
This episode represents what the entire series is about: gorgeous photography in exotic places.
