- The central theme of the movie is about how a young girl starts discovering her sexuality. There's quite a bit of discussion about this throughout the film but otherwise nothing too graphic.
- Sprout briefly holds the handle of a homemade weapon to her crotch & it's implied she briefly becomes aroused by it. Is very quickly interrupted.
- Ranger Stella Woodhouse gives a sex talk to Sprout. Stella mentions that she will go through the same thing she did and that she will 'feel it right down in her pit.'
- Roy dreams of Stella seducing him. She is seen dancing suggestively while slowly unbuttoning her shirt.
- Roy removes his clothes and stands naked outside for a moment, bare butt visible.
- Sprout begins dancing suggestively which upsets Roy.

- Some talk of the Grady family having severe difficulties with Magda's decision to worship Aphrodite due to her lustful nature.
- Stella seduces Roy outdoors by talking dirty to him and unbuttoning her shirt. She begins moaning heavily and it may be implied that Roy is fingering her. He then turns her around and has rough sex with her from behind while Sprout watches. He gets too rough and kills her in the process.
Violence & Gore
- Roy kills a boy offscreen by clubbing him with a golf club. His body is found with blood on his head.
- During a rough sex scene Roy kills Stella by strangling her.
- Sprout kills Roy by impaling him with her homemade spear.
