Disastrous Direction

Shivanna and Sudeep both are great actors, But they caught up with wrong director. I gave 5 stars because of the respect I have for both actors. It's sad that having great actors in the movie, director could have been think of more creative and unique story.

It is one of the most expected movie of kannada film industry...But the film is really not good what we expected like..it is quite average movie....typical Prems film...same old mother sentimental and unnecessary buildups and songs...The film story is not really good and it is very lengthy..Unnecessary graphics...Only good thing is Sudeeps acting and looks..Shivannas character is overshadowed by sudeeps character...Amy jacksons acting is really poor...shivannas entry dance and fights are awesome..but overall film is not good...
The director should be banned!

I really don't know what was the director thinking, I mean don't you play it in your head before you go on to shoot it.
Worst movie ever.
Sudeep carries it a bit during the 1st half, Amy Jackson is the 2nd best actor in the movie, you know what I mean.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!
I never wanted to watch this movie, but some how I got free tickets to watch, and I did went along with my wife.
Then in the movie theater first 1 hour is torture !!
Next 2 hours was boring, weak story, unnecessary showoff, buildups.
There's so much wrong with the Multistarer movie I don't even know to begin. Kidding, Prem again shows who he was..

There is no best part in the movie.. Espect two song,, Janya's score,, somehow sudeep style impress,, Then other part poor graphics, Three fourths of the way through the movie I was throwing things at the screen and scrambling to leave the theater. The slow pacing, the poor lighting, the dragging, repetitive plot and the long running time made me want to punch someone. We get it. He dies. It's un-necessary. Who cares? He's boring. Now get me the hell out of here. I couldn't get out of that miserable movie fast enough... Prem gone director

This movie of Director Prem has an amazing blend of Action, Sentiments, Comedy and Drama. Even though there are a some scenes that are unnecessary, the story is good. People are simply saying that it's an idiotic movie because I believe they haven't understood the story properly.
Sudeep and Shiva Rajkumar have done a really great acting. It is Amy Jackson's debut Kannada film and she has done an amazing acting. Mithun Chakraborty has done an amazing cameo as Amy's father. But, I found his exit to be a little abrupt. Other than this, movie is really good.

Its a entertaining movie. Sudeep and Shivanna did their usual lager than life skit..... whats funny with people that when telugu tamil and hindi Hollywood actors do some larger than life stunts they Praise.... but when sudeep and shivanna do same stunts, they complain.... its a fun movie.... just enjoy it.

This movie is a fine example of how to waste money, manpower and time. There is absolutely no meaning in the script which is paired with poor dialogues, choppy video game like VFX and bad music. Kichha Sudeepa and Shivanna have excelled in their roles but that doesn't help in reviving this almost dead movie to life! The female lead played by Amy Jackson fails terribly, whether it is in acting or even lip syncing the Kannada dialogues. Her role is like watching an English movie character dubbing in Kannada! Another major flaw is the use of Indian English when the British characters speak in the movie. All these things will irritate you all the time. Finally the mother sentiment comes from nowhere and will start dragging the movie till the end with a very annoying climax. All in all this is a big flop show with an absurd script!

If you're a Kiccha or Shivanna fan, you may watch this one time.
The story has too many loopholes and just doesn't make sense or give an intelligent viewer any satisfaction. The trailer showed great potential, but the story fell apart and ends with Prem's signature 'taayi-sentiment' which is an already over-used story line. The saving grace is Sudeep's and Shivanna's phenomenal acting skills. The casting is horrible, because the character of the mother seemed more like that of an elder sister to Sudeep and Shivanna looks like the elder brother of the lady in question. The acting skills of Mithun Chakraborthy went to a complete waste. The female lead, Amy Jackson, is easy on the eyes, but her role had very little substance, if any. It felt like the character was added as a token, to show a female in the mix, only to add some romance for the sake of it. The story line could have easily been changed to remove the character altogether, without making much of a dent in the end product. Continuity in action, clothing, hair and makeup was messed up in several places.
The music wasn't Janya's best, but wasn't bad either: a couple of songs are catchy, but the rest can easily be forgotten as one leaves the theatre. Nothing amazingly different or refreshingly new. It was one more typical, elegant Arjun Janya project.

I wish I had 0 or negative stars for rating on IMDB. If you want to know how once can direct a movie without a story and screenplay this is the movie for you. In the age where a lot of creative kannada movies are getting recognition worldwide, like Lucia, Rangitaranga, Kirik Party, U-turn, Tagaru, Godi banna...., etc., this movie is a black mark for kannada film industry. you get nothing but headache at the end of movie. Pathetic dialogues, worst graphics, unbearable lyrics, irritating music and background music, untimely songs/dance....the list goes on. No wonder why kannada audience prefer other language movies over these kind of movies. If one can create a movie only with build ups and gimmicks I think it's really and art and only Prem can pull it out! Final word, please avoid the movie even if you get to watch it for free!

I didn't understand y these cast took this story, both r The best in sandalwood however it's a multistar movie fans expecting much more frm this movie. Well many are disappointed with this story n screenplay. But acting by both stars are super..
Give this film a miss. You won't miss anything in life.

Post Jogi, Prem lost it. Jogayya was bad but very mildly bearable. After that whatever he made, I don't even remember it(them). What happened to that director who made 'Excuse me'? That film had horrible acting by the lead actors but the film in its entirety was wonderful and the music was 'Beautiful' (Hope it was original).
Presently though, the Kannada Film Industry, also the most ignored South Indian film industry is trying hard to make sensible films with some story line, by new directors there will be directors like Prem who will see to it that it is their life's duty and lifetime goal to bring the Kannada Film Industry to its knees and spoil the industry's name, the name that was so strong a few decades back that the only regional competition was from Satyajit Ray. But thanks to shameless directors and 'star celebrities' whose main intention is money and entertainment through remakes, that just looking at the Kannada film posters with 'star celebrities' in them makes me throw up.
Now to the film. Amy Jackson's intro scene feels like she was actually sleeping. One, she can't act. Two she can't speak Kannada. The lip dub looks pathetic. Why in anyone's right mind would you chose Amy Jackson for any language film. Chose her to walk the ramp, not to act.
Saranya (playing Shivraj's mother) is a wonderful actress. But why is it that Prem couldn't find one middle aged woman in Karnataka who could act? Are Kannadigas that bad at acting? Is that what these directors/ producers are trying to say? Don't these shameful film makers have enough brains to spot talents within our state? Such a shame.
Sharath Lohitashwa playing Shivraj's father is yet another fine actor who could immortalize the role given to him provided the director has a vision to it. But here, he has hardly five minutes in the film. Why select 'actors' when you don't have any fleshy roles for them?
Next, casting one of my old time favorites, Mithun da. This man is such a fine actor that even Mani Ratnam would not ask him for a second take in the film 'Guru'. But here, he has 3 scenes and both are where he is a weak character and his dialogues are lip dubbed. What the..
The Vfx is so bad that if I start learning to do vfx by self tutoring using YouTube videos, I would make better videos than this entire film. Irresponsible spending on locations, vehicles and white men who speak dubbed Kannada. This happens in every Tamil films where characters go to some remote part of the world and find some local foreign guy speaking Tamil. Prem has adapted this here. Disgusting.

When the poster of this film released, I thought Prem was remaking the Hollywood film, "Face Off" and I was enraged. Post watching this film, I wonder he better had remade "Face Off".

Prem well narrated screen play, Arjun Janya music score, Cinematography .
Technically sound movie.
Must watch.

Mr. Prem is still in his tiny little brain who is not aware of where the present movies belong and the cliched dialogues, hero entries are just utter nonsense. The movie has so many mistakes. If you start with the goofs, we can fill the entire column in this IMDB goof section. Just don't go this movie, save time, money and brain.
Don't waste your time by watching this movie.

Worse movie and all the credit goes to one n only director Prem.. How can someone make this kind of a movie.. He has no humor as well. He doesn't even know where to use humor and where not.. And what's up with the animation. No sense at all. There are so many other negative things but don't have patience to write here..
