Where the first part left me feeling somewhat cold, this second episode was altogether more intriguing, the tone decidedly darker, and dare I say it, more interesting.
The motivations of the killer seem more obscure than after the first episode, were we given a glimpse of the perpetrators at the end, or is that a side show?
Now I find the character of Cardinal way more interesting, initially he just seemed like a downbeat Detective, warn down by both his job, and his personal life, now we see that maybe he isn't all he's made out to be.
More of this please. 8/10.
