Covenant opens with one of the most dramatic openings yet, the scenes of the car attack and hit are very dramatic, and grab your attention.

The arrival of Max is great, he's a fun character, and always adds a nice but of humour. The detectives are a bit of an oddity, he has wild eyes, and she has hair you can't help but stare at.

Full of family feuds, it has a few uncomfortable moments throughout, not a favourite of mine, but it's a good watch. 7/10

Mystery Man

Two men are killed by a hit man. Once investigated an ex-con gets involved. There is family blood involved. The thing that is a mystery is the hit man. He seems to have some great power. He also has a hit list and many of the characters are in fear for their lives. There is something going on with a young woman and her father. She is living in utter fear

Let's be clear - Clarissa & Nicki are right

The synopsis for this episode describes what happened to Becky as her 'having reluctant sex' with Frankie and Liam.

Let's be absolutely clear - Becky was raped. As Clarissa says and as Nicki says, it was rape.

Sex without clear and enthusiastic, freely given consent is rape. Doesn't matter who the participants are, ie 'he was her boyfriend' would not excuse it. Nor would it matter if they were married. It is not 'just one of those things that happens'.

To be fair, Silent Witness itself is quite clear about this, it's the synopsis on this page that is shamefully incorrect.

As for the story, it's certainly intriguing, though its derivation becomes clearer in part 2. There really ought to be a cameo from a short rotund gentleman walking past in one scene!

Starts off Well As Usual

Storyline was Fine in this one with a little overacting from non regulars as usual plus the Use of Scottish and Irish Actors and actresses seems to be the norm now but if I have one Rant it's:- Do These So called Detectives never look around in the Streets for People blatantly sitting in cars watching them after interviews🙈
