The madness of two.
Sleepin_Dragon1 November 2020
The big reveal, as we finally learn exactly who is Lakewood's serial killer, well almost.

It wasn't the person I was expecting it to be if I'm honest, I would have our them way down the list of suspects, but by the nature of this series, I'm sure that there is one more roll of the dice to come.

What was done here, was done very well indeed, perhaps the first time in this series where the scares were very real, the scenes inside the cinema, and at the end were remarkably well realised.

Great acting as always, and a nifty little teaser at the end.

Excellent, 9/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Here it is the 2nd season finale...i personally loved it...it gave me Scream 2 vibes and it was awesome first the car scene OMG i love it so intense and so dark and the whole concept to use the theater just like the scream 2 reveal (the reveal became on blessing sister's place : the one that piper used to live) Next, the theater as the gang base totally love it but i was scared to death when killer stabbed my Brooke...i was like no no no that happened!! Now lets focus on reveal i knew it was Kieran since the begging but i don't knew his motive...well that crazy bastard was in psycho-love with Piper...and they were known each other before he came to Lakewood...so all of this was a revenge to piper...But as we seen in the END (OMFG that end ''Hello Kieran, who told you, you can wear my mask'' so CRAZY!!!!) Piper and Kieran was pawns the main KIller will be on SEASON 3 SO LETS SCREAM FOR IT

Disappointed In The Reveal

Warning: Spoilers
Kierian being the killer is a cool concept by taking from the movies, but it was very obvious, and could have been revealed better. One of my biggest problems is the fact that the cops immediately arrested Kierian who was being held captive by the two main suspects Emma and Audrey. Would the cops not question this? Some side notes to think of as well are; Stavo's drawing of Mr. Branson. How did he know exactly how the crime was played out? The drawing was near identical to how the crime appeared. Could Stavo have been under the mask for that specific scene? Think of it, he had possession of the mask, or at least a replica, also he liked Brooke so he could he have killed Branson to protect her? Personally I don't think Stavo is Kierian's accommplise, but I do believe he cut Branson's hand off.

How many bullets does that gun hold?!
Calicodreamin6 October 2020
I counted at least 14, and I'm honestly not sure why Emma kept firing, that girl couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. That being said, the final reveal felt lackluster, and a bit "ohhhkay". It makes sense why no one ever made any progress solving the new killer, because it didn't make much sense. But I digress, ending was okay.

Not the blood-thirsty finale I was expecting!
ellisday-954-30091917 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Since the last few episodes of scream showcased the horror, suspense and violence of the movies, I was expecting a blow-out epic of a finale filled with more murders, more horror and an epic unmasking... I didn't get that. The things I found disappointing with this year's finale was: the low main character body count, the overwhelming amount of clichés and copied scenes from scream 2, the unrealistic actions, and the crappy cliffhanger at the end. The low main character count: In the movies, most of the credited cast die, especially in Scream films, so I was expecting another death of the Lakewood 6, plus a few more. What we got was an unknown sheriff. We didn't even get to see the killer die (another cliché of the genre). In all fairness, the main main cast is likable, but characters like Maggie have outstayed their welcome in the series - hopefully she will be killed first if there even is a next season. Secondly, the amount of clichés: Clichés in a 2hr movie are quite forgivable, and are left unseen through the actual horror - however, boasting its originality being a TV show, scream really should have took a few risks and stepped away from the clichés and movie copies, for example: the car crash from scream 2; the 'is-it- the-killer-that-terrorised-the-town-ages-ago; the 'killer-is-in-the- projector-room' from scream 2; the 'stabbed-in-the-cinema-but- survived' from scream 2 and the ending where 'two people are claiming their innocence, but the final girl picks the wrong one' The only original moments, like the killer letting Emma and Audrey go wasn't even a big enough focus for the episode for it to become original and creative. Again, another thing the scream finale lacked was realism. There were a lot of scenes in this episode that certainly wouldn't of happened. Without digging into the fact there are weapons in a cinema, I'm going to focus on Emma's UNBELIEVABLE aim with the gun. Twice in this episode, Emma has had a very good chance of killing the killer, but when it came down to it, she couldn't hit the killer that was only mere metres away from her, with a loaded gun. That is even more unbelievable than the fact she had that many bullets in the gun, being fired by the cop, by Emma twice shooting over four each time, and Eli being shot 5 times in the chest - I didn't see her reload. What's with that? Finally, the cliffhanger at the end, to me, just seemed like a way of scream getting another season, which I hope they do not.

Anyway, overall this episode was unexpectedly tame and unrealistic. I am especially annoyed at the low body count, because that's the only reason I tune in to this 'slasher' show - for some slashing.

If they continue for another season, they need to step up there game.

Seriously Keiran?!
shonaalannah18 August 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, so I felt that it was a bit of a let down. Surely Keiran saw Piper's mistake of going on about your backstory and saw that as a huge mistake, clearly not. I was getting to the point where I genuinely was rooting for him to just kill Emma there and then because I was getting bored of the cliché backstory. I would've enjoyed it more if it was more gradual, not for him to say something and then to suddenly admit Emma was right. To make it even worse, the line he said about Eli "he probably really liked you" I felt that I was watching a darker, live action version of Frozen. Considering he was "playing a game" I would've liked to have seen him quiz her. A video playing in each room of each death, texts or a phone call of him asking her questions which we, as an audience, can try and figure out too, making us feel more part of the action. I felt like we were meant to find out with her that it was Keiran but it was done poorly, in my opinion. It wasn't very exciting to watch, I got bored. Something that also annoyed me is how Audrey never even bothered to ask him if he killed Rachel, if I was her that's probably what I would've wanted to find out to get peace since she knew Piper didn't kill her... So was it actually Keiran? My bets on yes but either way, I would like to know that. I thought the intensity was good at the theatre/cinema scene, especially when Stavo came to the window, although I was expecting him to get stabbed in front of Noah and Brooke. It kinda felt, though, that the writers lost interest towards the end and instead of being creative and really thinking of an unusual backstory which would probably have made the episode better, we got the cliché relationship and "my piper" so, overall I'd say it was good but not nearly as gripping as the series had been, pretty anticlimactic.
