Finally Vegeta gets his respect!!!!!!!!
sam_smithreview4 April 2016
For me, i personally felt that the show was headed down hill, but this episode made everything better. We finally have Vegeta do something Noble, Something that a true royal leader do, and that is acknowledge his people.

This whole new series, it felt that they made Vegeta out to be a joke. From dancing and being super scared of Beerus, to him having 6 month more training then Goku, but still not as strong as him, to his demise as he didn't want to fight Frieza first when he turned Gold, to him not being the one who kills Frieza, to his battle against Frost.

Seems like Vegeta has just become a joke and a side character, but now this episode makes everything better! and for those who love Vegeta, they will truly love this episode as it brings out everything you love about the character and more. Not only is he truly bad ass in this episode, but he also shows off how much he still is the True Prince of ALL SAIYAN's I kinda suspected half way, that what he was doing was for his benefit, but with Vegeta you don't know, so in the end, it was truly amazing seeing Vegeta act like a true prince.

REALLY LOVED THIS EPISODE!!

I get the joke

Warning: Spoilers
I loved this episode because it features Vegeta doing something quite noble that you wouldn't expect. He fights his opponent, Cabba. Yes, I understand the joke that his name is short for Cabbage. They're all named after vegetables! Anyway, this episode starts off by making it look like Vegeta is simply bullying Cabba and the other characters question how this is cruel even for him. I was actually able to suspect the true ending. I knew all this time that he was deliberately trying to anger Cabba so he could tap in his true power and become a Super Saiyan for the first time.

It's actually portrayed pretty realistically. Cabba becomes Super Saiyan but Vegeta simply defeats him by becoming Super Saiyan God. It really is a nice lesson taught by Vegeta, one of, if not my favorite characters. It's great to see how things move along so quickly in this series. I guess not being based on a manga helps. And yes, this handles it much better than "Dragonball GT". I have to stop mentioning that show. I don't hate it. It just pales in comparison to the other ones. ****

Respect for the creators not being TOO soft.

Warning: Spoilers
I appreciate the fact that they haven't completely turned Dragon Ball into a cartoon style kids comedy show.

They went all out with the way Vegeta interacted with Cabba, telling him pretty intense things like, that he will murder his whole family and stuff like that.

I figured out what he was actually trying to do, but I still enjoyed him being an old school ruthless savage again.
