The Making of 'The People Under the Stairs' (1991)

*** (out of 4)

This EPK runs in at just under four minutes and features interviews with director Wes Craven as well as cast members Everett McGill and Wendy Robie. These (now) vintage previews were created to make people interested in the film in question and that's pretty much how they should be reviewed. Obviously at just four minutes there's not going to be too much detail given but I thought this film managed to do a good job at building your interest for the feature. Craven talks briefly about the film and the two actors go over their roles. The best thing about viewing this today is that you get some behind-the-scenes footage of Craven on the set and the narrator, who is overly serious, talks about the comedic elements of the film.
