The Beast of Gevaudan is the main subject these episodes, will the pact defeat this powerful creature. A good episode but I'm getting a little bit bored with this show, it can all be improved.

Waste of a Real Frenchman

Throughout the series they've all butchered the pronunciation of foreign words, from Gaelic to Greek (though they did learn that the term is "triskelion" rather than "triskelé"). But so far the only one who pronounces Gévaudan correctly is the actor playing Sebastien - a real Frenchman - but apparently no one thought to ask him to help with all the French words!

What A Waste

There's a great story there, and the potential for one of the best episodes in the show, especially with Crystal Reed's return. Unfortunately, it fell flat. Similarly to the flashback episode from Season 3, the present day stuff is up to standard, but the writing in the flashback content is much below that standard. I'm not saying that it was awful, but it was for sure one of my least favourite episodes in the show! Its my second time watching the series, and I remembered this to be an awesome episode, bringing back one of my favourite actresses on TV (that, may I add, deserves so much more recognition). I just didn't enjoy it that much, and think that the writing could've... And SHOULD'VE been much better for the flashback side of things. That's what really dragged this episode down.

I still absolutely love seeing Crystal back though!
