Great show

My family absolutely loves this show. There are not many programs my whole family will sit down together to watch but this is one of them! My household ranges from an 8 year old to a 67 year old. Julia is a breath of fresh air and a fabulous person to watch work doing something she is so passionate about

LOVE THIS SHOW

I got to meet Julia at one of her shows she did and I learnt so much. She has opened my eyes and taught me so much about snakes even tho I'm utterly scared of them. The show is rather entertaining and you learn so much about snakes and sometimes other reptiles. My fingers and toes will be crossed for another season.

A favorite show of a 6.5-year-old

When the lockdown started in mid march 2020, my elder son was in kindergarten. We had to stay at home, and he started to watch snake boss, literally every day. The following is a conversation we had back then:

Q: why do you watch snake boss everyday? A: because I was born in the year of snakes; my teacher Miss Morgan got 2 pet snakes at home, and she is a big fan of the snake boss show too.

Q: What is so special about snake boss? A: a couple of reasons: 1) they got Bonnie, who is really cute; 2) it has so many venomous snakes, and lizards too; 3) I really like Julia and Johnny and I think they formed a wonderful team, working together very well.

Great little show, Julia channels Steve Irwin in her love of animals.

Fascinating show! Found it while I was exploring the channels on PlutoTV (free App on the Amazon Firestick) since I'm considering cord-cutting. So far, so good when there's programming like this on their Voyager documentaries channel. It's been on in the background all afternoon and it's a great show. I don't agree with another reviewer who thinks she doesn't care about treating the animals properly. She's very likable and Loves the snakes and doing what she can in a very humane and caring manner. One large poisonous snake they found in a tool shed caught tangled terribly in a wire net and it was strangling the middle of the snake. It was almost dead. While she held it, her assistant cut bit by bit the Godawful tight wire off it. She kissed it gently as they set it free in a wild habitat. Another episode she got a huge one out of someone's pool area and noticed it was covered in ticks on it's head. Before setting it free she pulled all the ticks off it with her hands and polished nails, calling it Darling the whole time. Set in Australia, you learn a lot about other animals and habitats also. Wish they'd made the show for another season or two, it's really good!

So unprofessional... snake catching in heels...She screams when she sees anything. She is not precautionary at all. It's only a matter of time before she gets bit. She puts her hands near venomous snakes all the time while she's talking away to the camera. No idea...

Painful to watch.

Seeing someone handle snakes in the manner that "snake boss" does is horrible. It would be nice if the "star" of the show cared as much about technique and the snake's well-being as she does about getting her head on camera. Rough, inexperienced and nothing more than another mind numbing "reality" show except it's protected native wildlife who suffer.
