the Nurse
dollfacecrafter13 January 2021
Really? I agree with everyone about the nurse, she is a sexy, pretty brunette, exactly like Paul likes to murder. stupid move. and Gillian's voice is so annoying. She was in the Crown as Margaret Thatcher and is even more annoying in that. really like the story and Seas. 1 & 2 were really good, they are dragging it out way too long.

Hospital screenplay plot hole
Simek-138-3232001 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
How it is possible that he has one and only one nurse for the whole time?! Every nurse has shifts. And it is really annoying that anybody will let nurse with exact look as victims with that murderer. It is not necessary to say that nurse has long nails and this is forbidden in the hospital. He is in custody and he is not cuffed and there is no police surveillance. I like this series very much but third season is a big disappointment.

Don't bother with series 3
a_mobbs6 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
First 2 were OK, series 3 is unwatchable. Episode 1 was basically how they saved Spector, which could be summed up in 2 minutes. Police response to the suspect in hospital was pathetic. Then have the victim and suspect on the same ward, so close they could almost touch. Fantasy, naively written.

So full of holes, I just want the series to end now
Cragsidebarry27 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
1. The inconceivable situation I mentioned in my review of S3E1 happened.

2. The head teacher would have (a) Consulted with governors, and (b) unless independent, consulted with LA/Diocese, and had a representative with her when meeting with the parent.

It goes on. It's so bad I can't be bothered to list the rest.

Just ridiculous. Makes an absolute farce of everything that's preceded this episode.

Serial killer has more rights than victims... they're dead, anyway
dierregi14 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The show is currently following the downhill, well-worn path of the killer who must be treated with velvet gloves to prove how civilized our civilization is, even if the general opinion is that the Western world is so degenerate. Whatever your side of the political fence, there are at least two glaring mistakes in the procedures of what seems to be the most pathetically messy police in the world.

Rule number one is that a victim and a perpetrator are NEVER shipped to the same hospital, not only to avoid hurting their feelings but for the very practical reason of the relatives of either party meeting each other. That is likely to cause an explosive situation that normal police officers, already burdened with tons of bureaucratic bulls**t want to avoid.

Rule number two would be to keep a potentially lethal, strong, and athletic killer handcuffed to the bed, or at the very least, knowing his penchant for young brunettes, assign him to a male nurse. A case of better safe than sorry that it's completely disregarded.

And that tear-jerker scene with the kiddo... how cringeworthy fake.

Curiosity being killed early
chrisrowexxx2 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
They shouldve done a film kinda ending for 90 mins or just ended it last season, could've had him die, or twitch so we knew he was alive and would go to prison. The episodes are so padded out with overshot facials, scenes being minutes too long and repetitive things like the radio calls being far too frequent. The show isn't bad season 1 was a good 7-8 season 2 was at a 5 this ones started out badly. Was that her mom at the end? Strange, the hospital felt realistic but no armed guard, cuffs and police being asked to leave by a nurse fitting his MO was odd. Love aisling though.

My main issues is the guy who's in charge who tried to rape GA, Jim is ridiculous, pathetic mess, who's an alcoholic fraud who's a danger to people yet none of the colleagues have reported him, he's also just a dreadful actor, really the weak link in the show.

But I've gone from thinking Stella was Anderson's amazing role in series 1 to almost hating her now, the annoying whisper voice constantly, just talk normally. The lack of respect for colleagues, not reporting a near sexual assault, the constant man hating for example fight or flight being a man thing... yeah wrong. She's intolerable by end of two but the main reason is from the pool scenes to well everything is that she is some goddess everyone wants, it's ridiculous and hypocritical, if it was a man this show would get hate. Her boss, two colleagues who were young decent looking guys , the Asian doctor woman, even the ginger lady had a moment, to the inappropriate touching and breaching or personal space to the female officer she wanted as bait in interviews. If a man kissed a colleague to scare a woman off he'd be hated but it's ok she does it. Her behaviour is arrogant disgusting and makes her hard to like, the bad a55 routine just falls flat. Don't get me wrong she's attractive for her age but for that many to be after her or just being a man means that they're easy is pathetic writing.

I don't know what happened but the show just became blah, Season 2 had moments where it was some what tedious but nothing in comparison to this.

Squeezy lemon?!
daniarnold-0869114 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The utterly insufferable brat teenager assaults her ex friend with a squirt of squeezy lemon?! Are they actually serious?! 😆 This show has gone downhill quick smart. But as I said on another review here, I'm a masochist & will see it through to the end. Laughing & shouting at the screen all the way. I love GA & have really enjoyed her performance, but as other reviewers here have pointed out her constant whispering, I now can't unhear it! Whispering at completely pointless times. Why?!

I would recommend the first two seasons, but 3 is just proving pointless. Disappointing end to a good series.
