The real boss is not the one with the badge

Warning: Spoilers
The best season starts off strong with one of the episodes often referred to as one of the best of "Wentworth". Bea will never be released from prison again and some women outside support her and see her as a protector of women's rights. Franky no longer needs to worry about the steam press and returns to her specialities; the kitchen (and the drugs). It's also about the arrival of Bridget played by another excellent actress and the return of Liz with the other prisoners. In the heat of the moment, Vera is taken hostage and, it is rare that you can say that, but luckily Channing is there to save her. Maxine makes a very effective right arm and Bea makes an impressive Top Dog. Cormack's acting is subtle and precise as in less than 25 episodes she goes from a scared battered woman to the cold-blooded prison leader in a very convincing way. I love that the episode begins with a warning from Ferguson to Bea and ends with a warning from Bea to Ferguson and that Smith is proven to be able to escape prison as well as the solitary block while being in custody of the governor.

Warning: Spoilers
Bea gets a lifetime punishment from the judge, for killing Brayden Holt. Bea is back at Wentworth prison. Fletch is recovering from his accident. A riot starts at the prison. Lucy's group are holding Vera Bennett as a hostage close to the isolation cell. Bea and her group won the riot vs Ferguson . Really good episode of Wentworth. Action, drama and an amazing riot.

Queen Bea

Bea is back and she is holding nothing back. The power shift to start the series is incendiary. Well developed storylines and pretty good acting from the cast.

The governor

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is one of my favorites. You really get to see Joan Ferguson slowly loose control. Pamela Rabe does an excellent job with portraying Joan. When Joan looses control she cannot accept the harsh reality in front of her. This is especially noted when she is willing to risk the deputy governors life. Vera would not be able to last if she were governor. Vera fell into a trap and was unable to defend herself. The sad part is that Vera constantly seeks Joan's approval. If Vera found out how Joan really felt I can bet she'd still be the Deputy. She is not the smartest person and relies too much on her feelings to dictate her decisions. Also on a side note I really love how when Joan is called on the radio she does not respond as "Sierra" but as "This is the Governor"
