... And the ride continues its track straight to hell

After watching the pilot, I started to develop interest in this new formula of slasher comedy on television.

The problem with all modern series today is that however awesome its pilot is, the second episode never manages to seize the charm of the pilot (No, not even Breaking Bad did it). The key to it is to maintain the pilot's quality and make the formula evolve, if possible.

Oh, boy, Scream Queens did it! This bloody entertaining slasher comedy did not only sustained the atmosphere, progressed the story, added and layered characters, but also mockingly exploited its source material by being as cheeky and as humanly silly as possible. Apparently by ripping off mostly the Scream Cinematic Franchise and partially other bad teen slashers.

I can only recommend this series to those who enjoyed the pilot and got into the atmosphere the show-runners created. And for you, guys, I can guarantee it's gonna be an awesome ride till the season finale.

This show is going well!

Warning: Spoilers
It is with no doubt, that this episode was an improvement on the first. The opening monologue ,executed beautifully by the original "Scream Queen" Jamie Lee Curtis, established the symbolism and depth of her character and her disgust towards the youth. New developments with the Red Devil Killer made this episode very entertaining. Most noticeably, was the ending scene with Boone. Is he in league with the killer? Also what is being hidden in Kappa's basement? These are questions which the creators have successfully attracted their audience with and if the show remains this consistent, then the mystery style story will be very convincing right up to the finale. Most of the laughs in this episode came from Emma Roberts and her relationship with Chad which led to even more awkward extremes. This time round; the jokes were expected, therefore they felt appropriate and suitable as well as being quite humorous. Jamie's homage to Halloween by standing creepily next to the tree, was perfect and evoked a true sense of relevance to the past few decades of the Slasher Genre. There were not many problems with this episode, although I would like to see some more scenes between Skyler Samuels and Keke Palmer, as their relationship was importantly established in the Pilot. Also, Nasim Pedrad needs to be further developed as she has not been too convincing thus far, but has still provided some good laughs.Chanel #5 became interesting in this episode and had me suspicious of her being a candidate for the killer. Overall, an improvement on the Pilot and with this direction the season looks to be progressing fluently.

The killing continued. "Welcome to "Scream Queens"
FelipeCarrillo14 May 2016
Ryan Murphy's bizarre world opens its doors to the second episode of "Scream Queens". Although "Hell Week" is not directed by Murphy, is written by him, so we expect much more emotion than in the first chapter. Brad Falchuk is the new director here. "Glee" is worthy of the title to the creation of Ryan, in terms of insanity, more ordinary. Third place is for his last invention on screen "American Crime Story", at first sight, must be it more realistic and true to the real thing, but professionalism and quality of Ryan is so high that "The People vs.O. J. Simpson" seems a story from another planet. "Scream Queens" occupies the second place, his queens, his killer, his attitudes, his characters, his costumes, his funny dialogues, his cast... thousands and thousands of follies that proudly could be in place number one, but, there is one more. And the winner is... (by God, impossible not to know). Five seasons (six soon) are more than enough to recognize that the world of "Murder House", "Asylum", "Coven", "Freak Show" and "Hotel" are exceptional, enticing, disturbing, abnormal and utterly crazy.

The show has much potential to explore, Jamie Lee Curtis and Roberts as protagonists and a youthful cast of luxury, Ryan Murphy screenwriter, director and creator, and much more. Expectations were very high. results?

After a luxurious pilot, five funny characters are killed in this episode, a few more to the list of suspects. The death of the former President of KKT with a spray, our deaf Taylor Swift with a lawn mower, Boone with a cervical trauma, Ariana Grande with her comic death and other few show the rapidity and conviction that owns the series, so, do not scare if a major character dies, possibly, should be cohesive to the rest of the survivors.

And entering in the field of victims of the 'Red Killer', two are the attractive characters who have been directed on the road of death, the first Ariana Grande, a star that, for obvious reasons, could not be during the entire series and Boone Clemens one of the most appealing characters (and belonging to the LGBT community) and it seems that his interest will reappear in a few chapters. This affirm that Ryan Murphy is still in its glorious years, where the twist plots and original ideas have not rusted. As to the identity of the murderer, suspicions abound making way for what could be a conspiracy or revenge.

Emma Roberts defaults to High Bitch here, is making the comic role of her career, a strange fashion-addicted, odious and stupidly rich character do her thing again, and although she seems the main character, that merit takes Skyler Samuels (Grace Gardner) acting of a way more serious but equally effective, provided a bit of reality and sanity to so much madness and eccentricity. Keke Palmer also makes her mark in the series, with a unique look of everything that happens. Even though she has only been a few minutes on screen, Jamie Lee Curtis steals all the camera looks, crying out for a little more participation, however knowing to Ryan, we know that such exotic sweet will be used later. And each character has a personality very well designed and perfectly applied in the contexts of the series.

"Hell Week" increases the expectations of this provocative project, introduces many more characters, more deaths, more speculation and a new theory is attached to the show. Have you ever experienced a real tragicomedy? Ryan Murphy offers one.
