After watching the pilot, I started to develop interest in this new formula of slasher comedy on television.
The problem with all modern series today is that however awesome its pilot is, the second episode never manages to seize the charm of the pilot (No, not even Breaking Bad did it). The key to it is to maintain the pilot's quality and make the formula evolve, if possible.
Oh, boy, Scream Queens did it! This bloody entertaining slasher comedy did not only sustained the atmosphere, progressed the story, added and layered characters, but also mockingly exploited its source material by being as cheeky and as humanly silly as possible. Apparently by ripping off mostly the Scream Cinematic Franchise and partially other bad teen slashers.
I can only recommend this series to those who enjoyed the pilot and got into the atmosphere the show-runners created. And for you, guys, I can guarantee it's gonna be an awesome ride till the season finale.
