Really good episode, I enjoyed the Elena kai scenes at the school and the moment where she sets him on fire, it was a good episode.

It was a good episode. The fire set from Elena's burning hand after her ring melted was awesome! I'm also glad Jo's magic skills came into play as well. I'm glad as well for Sheriff Forbes to have more story depth then previous seasons. I had a bit of an issue when Elena was stabbed by a broom stake during the showdown between Kai and Damon. I was asking to myself, "Why was Elena still there?" Overall, not bad of an episode.

Kai has cloaked Elena and kidnaps her. He wants to use her for his magic because he knows he has an absurd amount that might kill Jo before they even merge.
Damon goes to the school with Jo where Elena is being held. Jo uses a cloaking spell to protect them. Damon touches Elena and she joins them in the invisibility. Before they are able to leave Jo cannot hold on and the cloaking spell is no longer present. Kai can see them and he uses illusions to get Damon to throw wood into Elena. Jeremy shoots Kai in time and Kai is sedated.
Now they have Kai and Jo can work on her magic until the next celestial event.
