Great Episode!

This is the second episode of the first season of 12 Monkeys and I really enjoyed this episode. It expands quite well from the first episode and it introduces us to two new characters: Jennifer Goines and Pallid Man. Emily Hampshire gives her character a side of creepiness to the mentally-challenged Goines and speaking of creepy, Pallid Man has the makings of being one of the most creepiest villains in current television.

In this episode, "Mentally Divergent," James Cole is sent back to 2015 by Jones to talk to a mental patient who may have information about the 12 Monkeys, in which James believes they have something to do with the creation of the virus. Meanwhile, Dr. Cassandra Railly believes that because she was pulled into this affair, she must stay much to the dismay of James.

Overall, this was a very fine episode. Great acting all around and it feature plenty of action. I also liked the visuals, and I feel television's visuals have come a long way. Cannot wait to see what happens next.

My Grade: A

Nice episode

I only could not get why that man did not kill jennifer, doctor or james.

He said he remembered james. Probably james will go to past in future and they will meet and james will hurt him from head.

Great!

I've watched the motion picture multiple times, as well as this series multiple times completely. And the thing about the series that outclassed the movie is. Jennifer's character, played by. Emily Hempshire. She has fully dwelled into the character and has run the entire show, even though she's now exactly the topmost character of the series. Her humerous acts are not perfect always, but most of the time she's really great. And this episode has introduced her character in the best possible way. This episode has given the show a very good start.
