For some people, timing is everything, especially regarding life planning. The problem with meticulous plans is no one can account for the unknown, and a wrench in the works can throw the entire strategy out of whack. In Let’s Have Kids!, Emma and Phoebe decide to get pregnant simultaneously to navigate motherhood together. However, their friendship becomes tested when only one conceives, and the other is left on the sidelines. Karen Gillan and Zoë Chao lead Let’s Have Kids! as two best friends on opposite ends of a life-changing era.
Let’s Have Kids! is Black Adam and Due Date writer Adam Sztykiel’s directorial debut. Sam Richardson, Max Greenfield, K.J. Apa, Ed Begley Jr., and Mary Steenburgen co-star in the laugh-out-loud comedy. Sztykiel co-wrote the script with Elli Knaus, a producer on the project alongside Becky Sloviter.

When Is The Netflix Series Obliterated Coming? Well, “Obliterated” is Netflix’s latest series, and here’s what we know so far about it. The series comes from the creators of “Cobra Kai” and seems to be a more grown-up project from them.
After a lot of work and changing networks, the action-comedy series is finally coming soon. From what we’ve seen and heard, “Obliterated” seems like a mix of “Mission: Impossible” and “The Hangover.”
Netflix has a habit of dropping entire series at once and letting people talk about them, just like they did with “Squid Game.” “Obliterated” has a vibrant look and an interesting story about a group of pleasure-seekers who have to stop a bomb in Las Vegas, but their love for drugs and alcohol gets in the way.
While we don’t know everything about the show yet, it looks like it could be Netflix’s next big hit.

Exclusive: Apple TV+ Has Grown Its Library by 35% in the Past Year as Streamer Hits Viewership Highs
When it comes to keeping subscribers happy and engaged, one of the tried and true methods that streaming services have employed since the dawn of this era of media is to offer libraries so chock full of steady streams of content, that it would be impossible for any one viewer to ever watch it all. However, one subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service has bucked that trend, and in doing so has remained relatively small in comparison to its competitors, but is becoming increasingly invaluable to contentious customers. By keeping its streaming offerings limited — and not to mention star-studded — Apple TV+ has cultivated a reputation for consistently delivering some of the best series and films on streaming without the unnecessary swings and misses that other streamers force viewers to wade through.

A murder mystery is both the perfect and a slightly odd sandbox for a TV show. “The Afterparty” delights in playing different genres off of each other in each episode, as the audience and Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) watch each new potential suspect’s “mind movie” of what happened the night media phenom Xavier (Dave Franco) was murdered at his high school reunion afterparty. Different personalities get to take over the same set of events, retelling their version of the night through the lenses of everything from romcom to action flick to animation. But when the truth is finally revealed in the season finale, “The After Party” must create a final visual style: the truth.

Rising rapper Kyle and Alessia Cara unveiled a charming new video for their recent collaboration “Babies,” which appears on the former’s debut album, Light of Mine.
The Kid Studio-directed clip opens with a bleak breakup scene, but quickly transitions to a colorful, kids show aesthetic complete with vibrant sets and oversized papier-mâché props. How does Heather Parry, president of Live Nation Productions, operate? A telling example comes in answer to a question about how her company became involved with “A Star Is Born,” the Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga vehicle that is already one of the biggest films of the year.
“I know Bradley, and as soon as I heard he was going to direct it I called his agent, Dave Bugliari, who was on a ski lift at the time,” she recalls. “I said, ‘How does Live Nation get involved with this movie? We have venues and festivals and concert tours and all these assets and ways we can help you market,’ and he was like ‘I’m on a ski lift!,’” she laughs. “But to his credit, he called me right back and then talked to Bradley. Rapper Kyle’s role in Netflix’s “The After Party” may be his first foray into film, but the world of a young hip-hop artist desperate to break into the music industry was all too familiar to him.

Netflix is getting the party started.
In a new trailer for “The After Party,” real-life rapper Kyle, known for last summer’s hit song “iSpy,” vies for his big break with a record deal all before the sun rises.
The film, written and directed by Ian Edelman (“How To Make It in America”), follows Kyle’s character Owen as he accidentally becomes a viral sensation — but not for his beats.
After Wiz Khalifa (as himself) gives the aspiring artist advice and some low-grade weed, Owen has a bad reaction and begins to seize on-stage during a set. As is par for the course in the digital age, audience members take video of the incident and Owen becomes #Seezjahboy overnight.

"Your rap career is not over! ... Tonight, the after party to end all after parties." Netflix has launched a trailer for an indie comedy titled The After Party, a film about an up-and-coming rapper who almost ruins his career when he pukes on Wiz Khalifa. His friend convinces him to take him to an after party where he'll have another shot at making it big if he can perform and impress the attendees. The story takes place during "one wild night", of course. The cast includes Kyle Harvey, Harrison Holzer, Shelley Hennig, Teyana Taylor, Jordan Rock, Amin Joseph, Andy Buckley, and Blair Underwood; featuring cameos by Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, DJ Khaled, Ski Mask the Slump God, Desiigner, Pusha T, Jadakiss, Tee Grizzley, Young M.A., and more. This looks funky and entertaining, but nothing that will make a real mark in the end. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Ian Edelman's The After Party,...

Jason Jones has come aboard Paramount Player’s Taraji P. Henson-led comedy, What Men Want, based on Nancy Meyers 2000 rom-com, What Women Want, with Mel Gibson. This Adam Shankman-directed gender-flipped version centers around a female sports agent (Henson) who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. She gains the power to hear mens’ thoughts and she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar. Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck wrote the piece with previous revisions by Tina Chism. Will Packer and James Lopez are producing via Will Packer Productions. Jones is the Ep of TBS’s Full Frontal and writes, produces, and stars in the TBS series The Detour. He’s repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
