This is such a gut level realistic portrayal of the implications of a horrific crime. It evolves into numerous issues. We have the parents of the couple. One mother is vengeful and angry. The other is living in a kind of dream world. The fathers are weak or compliant. We see what the police do in their jobs. They are quite skilled, but we don't know how much truth is being dealt out. We have the young Mexican/American family whose son is in jail, possibly facing a murder charge when he stupidly supplied a gang member with a car used to commit God knows what. Excellent story,
