Tough episode but a really great one

Warning: Spoilers
If you love Wendell like me this is a really tough episode, it was very sad that for a moment he decided to not fight cancer but at the end of the episode he changed his mind and that last scene gets to your heart. It's a really good episode with a good case, and a amazing directing from DB and nice songs from Charlie Worsham. One of my favorites from this season.

The World is a Wonderful Place to See

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, this episode really hits you in the feels. I have seen Bones a few times and this storyline for Wendall always sticks out for me. I have always been a Wendall supporter because to me, he seems like one of the only interns that isn't a caricature or stereotype of what a lab intern would be. I really felt all the emotions that went into this. I felt the struggle of Wendall, unsure if he wanted to fight or not. I also really loved how much we could see that Booth and Brennan cared for him.

The case this week was good, the only thing I want to say about it is I think it is hilarious that Sweets decided to take Kara to the diner to have this conversation with her. Like of all places, Sweets decides to have this super emotional moment inside the diner. Why not his office? You know, the professional and private office that the FBI provides him. Why the diner?

Best Part: Booth and Brennan and their mom and dad vibes. I absolutely love when Booth and Brennan are like the parents to the younger characters. We saw this with Sweets, when he lived with them for a while. We see it whenever these younger characters go to Booth for advice or to confide in. I think we saw that again in this episode. I feel like every interaction between Wendall and Booth and Brennan this episode was very much supportive parent vibes. The hug at the end between Brennan and Wendall just kills me, it is so sweet. Then she says that they will do anything to help, like wow so emotional and well done.

Worst Part: All the tears I cried this episode

Second Worst Part: The graphic and violent animation Angela made this week -- nasty.

So Sad
Hitchcoc27 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Every part of this episode is about dreams and the rocky road to realize them. To start with we have the country singer, played by Charlie Worsham, a wonderful voice in country music at this time. He has been trying to make it in the music world, limiting himself to playing a local bar and depending on his agent. What he doesn't realize is that his music has caught on in the Philippines but he is never told. There is also an unrequited love whom he is pursuing. But saddest of all is the realization by Brennan that Wendell has a deadly form of cancer. He is a sweet character who must make a big decision. But finally we have the song "Love Don't Die Easy, " hanging over the heads of the characters as they lament at the end.
